Colton officials deny harassment allegations

Serrano's business is losing customers due to her arrogant behavior and loud customers.
It is not doing well and she can not pay her bills to keep the business running. Instead of being appreciative of city officials trying to help her and work with her, she decided to sue.
What a whiner, she should take responsibility for her own actions in the fall of her business, it is no one's fault but hers. And if she keep her loud customers under control the cops would not have to go there-think!!

But the cops only bother her because of skin color ... yeah right! Why is it when people do crap, and are caught, they are being targeted because of race? What a fine bunch of people they have ... La Via, felon from the chamber, convicted Baca son(s), and then Mel A.("A" for Aztlan)... it's about time people wake up to the "leaders" who are attempting a coup in Colton.

Yeah, you've definately proven that there is no biased on skin color or race. Geez, there are enough offensive statements in your comments to make an entire country of people gasp. Don't think much more has to be said there.

I think it's a bit ignorant for someone to claim that "loud customers" are a legitimate reason for harassment. There are plenty of other businesses that have customers that fit that description. Most of the customers are locals so the probability of them being customers at other colton businesses is very high. Yet they are not experiencing the same treatment. Perhaps we should think a little more. As for discrimination allegations only a non-Hispanic person would write that, because she isn't the only one making those allegations.

Well,the will of the people hath spoken once again and the incumbant mayor has prevailed.At least Serrano won't have to pay the bill.I believe Nickolodeon and the members of Colton First offered to pay if they lost (which they did,quite miserably)

Nobody claimed that La Villa was being HARASSED because of their loud customers. What was said was that the Cops would stopping having to go there if it wasn't for the loud customers.

Harassing and responding are two different actions. You must be part of Colton's First; they also like to distort the facts to fit their arguments.

Oh, and what other businesses are you talking about? Linko's? Denny's? Hollywood Video? The post office? Linko's is the only other bar anywhere close to La Villa. They have dirt bags that frequent that place also, but they stay low key and the cops don't have to respond there often.

La Villa is a cesspit and should be burnt to the ground...oh wait, Serrano already burnt it down once for the insurance money.

As of 6-3-08,court records do not indicate any formal suites filed against "City Of Colton" by either Serrano or Reyes but do show "City Of Colton vs Grossich"
