Has anyone affected by Mr. Wilk thought to take the legal battle to him back East? Where his assets probably are?

I was at hh until the bitter end last winter. yes there was a security company and a roadblock. i left the coast in july and the gardens were all growing up full of weeds.i dont know if david intended what happened i dont believe he did. no one mentions the middle east based ghm company who managed hh while they jetted, wined and dined hundreds of people all over the globe. while tearing down all the accomodations over half the buildings are unusable and uncompleted. the property was sold for much more money than it ever should have appraised for. there were all kinds of crooks in on this one im sure. in the meantime hh will always live on in our hearts miss you all, nancy, dan ,john the chefs ,ken ,sean, john themaintenenceguy, rosa, delores, joanie and anyone else i forgot. peace, jen

My wife and I stay in Mendocino at least once a year and were heartbroken to see HH closed. I am not familiar with the details, but surely the coastal commission would have to sign off on ANY changes to the property. To read what I see here is scandalous. Perhaps the SEC or some similar agency could be involved by locals that lost money or were given disingenuous coupons or securities against work to be done. There was/is a similar scandal going on in the Reno/Grass Valley area that has robbed some of the artists there, with promises of vast projects and endless pits of money in the middle east. While a corporation may absolve an individual from monetary damage, it will not absolve the board from criminal charges. I heartily support a FULL and THOROUGH investigation at ALL levels to find out what actually happened to this lovely property.

A bad investment is one thing, but fraud is something entirely different. Having had a friend that worked for the CCC, any changes in structures with a VIEW of the ocean (however minute) require approval from them at the PLANNING stage, and inspection along the project. This investigation could take years, and if buildings have been unlawfully altered, it could erode the area making it unsuitable for future use. Perhaps some local folks there would know more as to how to apply the long stick of the law to this Wilk's arse. SOMEONE is paying for the security whose car I saw there and it looked like someone was living in one or two of the buildings when we drove past in October.

Where is David Wilke ? and what is is relation to the HH. Some asset managers must be working for the owners (banks) in all likelyhood they will resurface as either managers of the property and reopen it.

Wilke screwed up and mislead others with dreams of false glory. Other have done the same. Sadly we the working stiffs get f""""d in the process. meanwhile get HH donated to a non-profit

Daily Horoscope for December 21

Gemini

Close relationships sometimes cause problems for you, Gemini, perhaps because the level of intimacy involved makes you feel uncomfortable. Yet this is just what you should concentrate on over the next four weeks; so relax and let your guard down. It's safe to reveal your true self, warts and all. Feel free to let them do the same in return.
