Buckle, H&M, Chipotle and BJ's -- all great places! Can't wait to see this new mall! This is exactly what Marin needed..
Though, my only complaint thus far is the 'faux' second floor (which consists simply of fake windows backlit by fluorescence). Not a huge deal, but what were they thinking? |

Oh yes exactly what Marin needs, more consumerism to make up for the lack of character.
Me, myself, I just can't wait to get trendy and dash off to my spin class. |

isnt there one of these already at the village in corte madera?

Every one of those tenants are formula chains. Part of the homogenization of America. Close your eyes, spin around and get put anywhere in the country and you won't know the difference. Unfortunately, economics and risk issues mean interesting, local businesses can rarely afford to be in a regional mall.

Does anyone actually go to a mall looking for a local business? Malls are about chain stores. The local businesses should be located in the downtown commercial areas. It is the turning of a downtown area into a souless mall like chain store mecca that is truly unfortunate. |

nice selection of stores coming to northgate. i think the redevelopment of northgate will pay off well.

Jimbo, I bet you have lots of character. Spin classes are quite a workout. When was the last time you saw your feet without the aid of a mirror? |

Cool it is acutally a good l;ocation for a mall. The BJ's brewery here in South City ain't too bad...I will enjoy eating there occasionaly

Nice styles (knock offs) but very poorly made and they probably treat their labor poorly as well. Over priced for the poor quality. Some of their things look like one or two spin cycles and they will fall apart and the sewing looks like someone with no arms and legs sewed it, darts go in all different directions and pucker. Zero quality control.

I'll be there to open the store

On reflection, you are entirely right. It is indeed unfortunate when downtowns go that way. That happened to University Avenue in Palo Alto years ago, and is happenig to Petaluma now. |
