I'm disappointed that the city council members feel that the stadium was a non issue. It is an issue. My family has lived in this area since 1974. My grandkids live in this area now.
If they stadium is built, we are moving out of the Walnut/Diambar Bar. Just look at what happened yesterday with the fire along the 60 fwy. And no body seems to think traffic is going to be an issue!!!! |

PS - I live along the south side of the 60 fwy. Since the addition of additional lane in preparation of the car pool lane and the buiding of the so called SOUND WALL, we now have foundation problems. Walls are cracking, doors won't close, ceramic tiles are cracked. Our house constantly vibrates from the traffic. I can't even sit out in my back yard without choking from all the exhaust and you can't even hear yourself think.

1 Hey Stupid! Just give up and sell out to an Oriental. They come from pollution ridden cities and either lived in a shack or a flat in some 50 story tower where the sewage runs in the street.(Research SARS fools.) They pay more money for a trash house like yours coz they sold their itty bitty flat for a million and half. "Come see the Paradise" as they buy with Asian Monopoly Money American Trash homes like yours and discover they really should have bought a House in the Country! |
So essentially you bought the house thinking nothing would ever change? And you bought up against the freeway also thinking it would never expand? I would offer that you bought in the wrong place. No the freeways fault, not the stadiums fault, and no the fault of the millions who have moved here since you bought, but rather it is yours. |
You should move if you feel that strongly about it, but you won't. |
The stadium was not an ELECTION issue, despite the shoplifter trying to make it one. The stadium was a local issue, already dealt with. The City jackpoted. If you don't like the house you bought next to a freeway, buy another one. Homes in Walnut just went up another 13 percent. Shiuh Ming and Lim said they would go down a third in value because of the stadium. You are now going to have to deal with the 15 decibels of a blimp once in a while, too, you might as well leave. Lim and Bjerke can search for a new issue. |
I am so tired of people are still living in 1974. Get a clue and realize this city, this region, this state, this country and this world have changed. They will continue to change with or without you and the sooner you embrace change the sooner you can move on with life. The population is growing and quit fooling yourself to think that a football stadium is going to make traffic so bad. Traffic IS bad but not because of a football stadium. Perhaps you and others should put more energy into solving our state's traffic problems and quit focusing on the little things. |

I live in DB and even the small fire 2 weeks ago along the 60 created living hell on Golden Springs and DB Blvd. It doe'snt take a genius to figure that on game or concert days it will be just like that. For those who want to gt off the fwy, those side streets have long been the option. BIG PAIN IN THA ARSE! |
You don't live there so mind your own business. |
Projected values MAY have but actual sales have not. Don't speak from your butt. |
Well said. The Walnut & Diamond Bar opponents of the stadium seem to forget that their own homes are a product of development, and they themselves contribute to traffic. |
Ditto. Couldn't have said it better myself. |

Diamond Bar is on its way to being the next Rosemead/San Gabriel. A runned down chinatown type cty. Read between the lines people!

Can't wait for the massage parlors to open up!! |

Ya lost again, huh Mike? Maybe you should quit posting racial stuff. |
Why? There is nothing written between the lines. All that is there is speculation and imagination. |

Im tired of living in DB trying to defend my hometown, and now I feel bad when I call IT my home town. Bad traffic everyday, the probably building of that stupid stadium, and the sheriff's helicopter flying over my house every single night between 12-3AM. I am SICK and TIRED of living here, so I am moving to Western Montana, where the air is MUCH cleaner, the traffic is MUCH less, the people are nicer, where land is cheap, and the unemployment rate is not so bad.
