It won't be long now. The "zebra bus" packed with champagne swilling eager buyers will be coming to a street near you! As a deterrent, I think I'll put a couple empty cement bags and some fish entrails out by the curb.

Why wouldn't someone just tap into a 401, rather than lose their house? How stupid

That's stupid, then they shouldn't have bought the house to begin with. And if you don't want it, sell it or rent it out

Life happens. Sometimes it's better for the ex-owner to just walk and take the credit hit than be stuck with crap for 30 years.

They should not have bought crap. Buy a house you want, not the first one you see. Unless you are referring to the neighborhood going down, in that case still sell it for something

Some people just don't get it. Nobody's buying, especially first timers thanks to Amendment I, and are opting to rent an apartment while waiting for the housing market to plane out.
If people risk all or part of their nest-egg now and things get worse, they'll still lose their home AND be worse off financially.
As I said, some people just don't get it.

Joe...A house is whatever someone is willing to pay for it. The land under your Indiana home is basically worthless.
Joe,
these Mc Mansions were not owned by people making hundreds of thousands,
they were bought by the 10cent millionaire, who put 10k or 30k down, hoping to make 100k, or 200k, in a flip..many were interest only.
why do you think they have the $2,000. car in the driveway? that is not the maid honey, that is the home owner's car.
Get real..........

Most of the houses headed for foreclosure are investment houses. And the morons who are in deep doo doo had no savings to begin with and were banking on getting rich on these houses. Now they are screwed. Which is a good thing because all they did was drive up the cost of buying a house. Now, if you make less than $100,000 a year, you will not be able to afford a house here in So. Fla. with taxes and insurance.

You must pay those ILLEGAL lawn maintenance people you use very well. I guess they're making in excess of $100,000 easily.

Ha ha ... he probably is. What a waist of money. He should put his beer down and do his own landscaping.

That would require the ability to do two things at once; walk ans mow. This klutz can't even type and think at the same time.

You are wasting your time and effort. Think this Broker has any money that you can get your hands on ? I doubt it. If he does its in an LLC.? Your Lawyer will get paid though and you will be out of even more money. Pick up the pieces and move on and stop blaming other people.
You decided what real estate agent you would work with. I don't agree the agent is at fault. Its the buyers job to do his due diligence.

Look. I called Foreclosure Justce at www.justdontwalkaway.com and got a mortgage modification that reduced my payments and loan amount because of all the short sales in my neighborhood. I was not behind on payments but there is a silver lining in this crises. Check this company out if you want to save some money
