I thought the outlets were opening on Thursday....The article talks about the stores opening tomorrow, and the Cinemas. Also, are some stores already open for pre-opening? Does anyone know?

And how much advertising dollars have they given to Newsday as they have to all the organizations in DP,township of Babylon. Before you get all excited let's see if this helps the tax bills in any way, is it worth it? I think not! Then there the traffic, potencial violence, wear and tear to our local roads, I could go on and on, just for someone to get a discount on a dress, unbelieveable.

Interesting that they would quote someone from Alrose. Didn't they run the outlets in Bellport into the ground and let it go out of business? Not exactly a reputable source for outlet-related information.

The article is date OCT 22, so "tomorrow" would be OCT 23 which is Thursday. So I would assume they open Thursday

Watch when it becomes "Green Acres East". A destination for gangs and mall rats, car theives and jackers, purse snatchers and shop lifters. Oh, and did I say gangs? All to add to the pleasure of your "Tuscan" shopping experience. Let the good times roll.

I resent your whole stupid post. I live in Deer Park and I am not trash! And I have been numerous places including Hawaii and Great Britain. I hate the fact that Deer Park had the rest of Long Island shoving this thing down our throats and then people like you have the nerve to call the people who fought this every step of the way trash!! the fact is that anyone not living in Deer Park who wants this for their own convenience is the real trash!!!

Wonderful! Lets keep encouraging Americans to spend money they don't have, on things they scarcely need, in an area they can't get to.
