Well, the numbers seem to be stabilizing somewhat, which is good; but we are in a recession. There are so many properties for sale at discounted prices; no wonder sales will pick up eventually. Property value will take quite some time to even out.

Interesting article in NYT today, regarding a 30 year old DR who can't qualify for a home loan- with both great credit and income. We are watering the lawn, with the house burning! Our present system is not capable of solving the problem!! When have you ever heard a realtor say it's not a great time to buy a house????

Anyone who has lived in a changing neighborhood knows that increasing home sales isn't exactly a positive thing. Also the types of new owners is important. New owners turning homes into rentals and halfway homes means falling home values and decline for a neighborhood. The new owners might buy foreclosed homes but make the neighborhood even worse for existing owners.

We have not seen the bottom yet. Within the next two years more foreclosure are forcasted than the previous three years combined. Jumbo loans,$417,000 and up, are now starting to show up. Which means the "rich" are turning in their keys. We ain't seen nothing yet. Commercial properties are next. I hope you all have cash, food, water, and ammo stashed. We're in for a long bumpy road. And don't get me started on unemployment rates climbing and banks closing. Wake up folks we have idiot running things.

I for one am extremely worried about our future. But our dear leader seems happy, so I guess we should be too.

It's been suggested that dear leader was hired to ruin our country. If that's the case, he's doing a bang up job and is right on track with what ever his agenda is.

Tomorrow may be unbearable for some of you, so take a break right now. Do what you want to do, when you want to do it as much as possible today. Sometimes it's necessary to be selfish.
