Total Disbelief...Walnut really is trying hard to stop this aren't they?....when people say LA doesn't want the NFL I always disagree with them..maybe I shouldn't..every site that has been presented the last 15 years has been shot down buy a governmental agency or citizen group..i guess we don't care, it is truely sad..even the Rosebowl refused a NFL paid renovation..weird..I guess edward was right....

Wow, Walnut citizen groups are like visitors from bizarro-world. First they botch their EIR lawsuit by not naming the proper government agency. Now they sue under the Brown Act for a public hearing?

As always, I stand by my analysis that no team is willing to sell to Roski. But I must admit that I'm shocked at these anti-stadium Nazi's and their goofy halfcocked lawsuits.

When are people going to realize that this is a done deal and all they are doing is paying their hard earned money to lawyers to try and stop something they have no control over? Roski is the one of the richest people in California - he can afford the best, uses the best and will win. They'll remember you at dinner....

I didn't agree with Edward but I have a friend who works for the seahawks and he told me Roski has no chance of getting ownership of a team. the NFL likes his stadium but won't give him or anyone ese a expansion frnachise and no team that is for sale can be moved. His whole plan is built on to many.."what ifs"....I was totaly against Edward but he might be right..still a jerk but he might be right

This is funny! The anti-stadium folks have resorted to trying a Brown act violation? The California bar should conduct an ethics probe as to why the attorney took their case! Maybe he just needs to increase his quartly billings?

Doesn't surprise me one bite. Industry and Majestic/Roski have a history of crookedness.

Did'nt Diamond Bar agree in principal and accept 20 million for it? This talk that no teams are interested in selling to Roski is not true. They plan on having the Chargers AND the Saints there when their contracts expire. I hope I am wrong.. I live by the 57 & the 60, don't care about football and the increased traffic would be a pain in my butt! Of course it would attract lowlifes but let's PRAY that the Raiders don't come here... they are low life personified!

City of Walnut has violated the Brown act at least once so they know all about it.

It is OK for Walnut to violate it, but not Industry.

The end is near for the SGV. Once the stadium comes, the will follow. Pretty soon, your city will look like downtown Los Angeles. I can't wait.
So I'm assuming you think the SGV is currently shangri-la? The hookers, drunks, DUI's, drugs, gangs, fights and bums are already there!

Parts of SGV are still safe and pleasant. It's not "shangri-la" but its still better than central LA. Once the stadium comes, SGV will start looking like south central. Just look at the neighborhoods around Dodger Stadium, The Forum, Staples Center, etc...
I'm glad you cleared that up. Then Walnut, Rowland Heights, La Puente/Valinda, West Covina, will have no more excuses.

No matter how frivolous the lawsuits are I hope the city of Walnut continues the fight unlike Diamond Bar who sold their souls to the devil and for cheap I might add..

Read the above as follows:

"Parts of SGV are still safe ..." Translation: Little to no blacks or hispanics.

"SGV will start looking like south central ..." Translation: Blacks and Hispanics will arrive.

Yet more racist scare tactics.

The area around Staples is bad? Really? When was the last time you were down there? LA Live, new JW Marriott, and a multi billion dollar development on its way. Yeah it is real bad.

Actually Weaver said the team will remain in JVille. Show a link for the 20 year comment.

I guess news doesn't get to your cave very quickly. The Saints signed a long extension and were just awarded the Super Bowl for 2013 this week. They are not leaving NO, you can cross them off.
