My fiance was male when I met her, but became semi-transgendered at the age o f 31, after we had been together for 7 years.
I have read about transgenderism for the past 35 years and met many peope like this beginning 29 years. I think people are born this way. Whether it,s genetic, hormonal, both, other or a combination, I do not know. But one thing I do know from personal experience, is that people NEED to live their lives the way they know is best for them. I know many in society don't like tg or stg people, but you have to learn to accept all people. PEACE !:) |

Well at least i can say that i give credit to the parents for seeking help. It sure was better than the physical abuse i met, when trying to explain to my parents that i was actualy a girl.
It all comes down to the parents that the child has, that makes all the difference. But as long as this society continue to express their phobias, little kids will continue to suffer at the hands of over zealous parents who want the children's behavior to be in accord with their anatomical sex. And you can not blame the parent for wanting their children's sex to match their minds. But the crime comes in when you begin to abuse them, and not allow them to grow up healthy. Until the binary system is challenged outside of college academia, and brought to our homes, then these children will continue to suffer. I just wish that i had parents who understood my condition, and did not beat me up for telling them who i was. |

You said it. I remember all the trouble i got into when i was little i got caught and my a$$ beat for dressing in my sisters clothes i had many misconceptions growing up and had no one to explain things about why i was "different" such as i thought if i wore a training bra i would get boobs after all my older sister got boobs after she started wearing a training bra the first time i wore one i wore it to bed i woke the next morning and jumped out of bed excited because i thought they had grown just a tad during the nite, my dad came into my room and caught me with the bra on and gave me a severe beating. i was even sent home several times from grade school once for letting one of the girls put lipstick on me and three times for wearing female under clothes which were discovered during gym class. my dad thought he could beat me into being a boy i used to scream at him that "I AM NOT A BOY IM A GIRL" that brought down some wrath.*HUGS* |
