Catholic Bishops Group Denounces Contraception Compromise

I think I have it in a nutshell now.
Obama is a worthless, antiquated, communist visionary.
There. That's perfect. The cat's out of the bag.

Our founders warned us of an intrusive government taking over our ability to choose for our selves...

Do you bow respectfully to the king? Are you humbled by your own ignorance and awed by brilliant leaders doing their best to make following the US Constitution against the law? If so the current regime in the house and senate should suit you just fine.

But if you’re sick and tired of politicians seizing control of the private sector, expanding government, passing laws that dictate how you spend your money, and doing their best to make it against the law, to enforce the law, then you should do what you can to vote enough of these people out in November to ensure one party can no longer hijack the entire country.

The issue is not republican or democrat.

The issue we face November is WHO SHOULD CONTROL YOUR LIFE, YOU, OR THE ALL-POWERFUL. ALL-KNOWING GOVERNMENT.

The more power government seizes, the less freedom YOU have.

The more control government takes, the less freedom YOU have.

The bigger the government grows, the more tax dollars are sucked out of YOUR income.

Unless the direction changes fast and dramatically, instead of being free to enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, we will be subjects of the glorious state and will live or die at the pleasure of the all-powerful, all-knowing big brother.

There is no doubt that Thomas Jefferson was an astute, intelligent and far seeing president. However, his words were dimetrically opposed as to how he lived his life. In other words, he was a hypocrite and so are you.

When you invoke God to lend creedence to your words, you should mean them! When you say "All men are created equal and endowed by their creator with enabile rights to the pursuit of happiness except those whom "we" deem unworthy (blacks and people that don't look like us or share our skin color!)

Owning human beings and treating them like chattel was and is disgusting and is one of the greatest atrocity one can imagine.

So when you want to pontificate about the glorious past of America and it's leaders and what they wanted for the US, don't leave that out! Change is inevitable and it's people like you who cannot accept it simply because "your kind" has always benefitted from it which is why you can be presumptiouos enough to be posting the things you post!

It's hard to take these Catholic Bishops seriously and their concern about what is and isn't "moral" when they've enabled, hidden and supported pedophile priests who prey on children. Worst, they've saddled parishoners with the financial responsiblity of paying for the lawyers and settlements by increasing tutions in Catholic schools and colleges.

I would hardly be concerned about what they think. If they have issues with what the president proposed, they can always refuse funding.

Lest we forget, owning slaves was the law of the land then. However, that was brought to an end, beginning with the "Emancipation Proclamation" brought forth by a Republican President, and then followed up by a variety of Civil Rights legislation backed by more R's than D's.

Owning slaves goes back to Biblical times, which was sanctioned by God with strict principals to be followed however. If you have a problem with slavery per se, take that up with your creator......

As with the other suffering of history, God did not prevent slavery from ever existing, though He could have. But this was neither random, senseless, nor in vain.
