All they need to do to get it right and back on track is to ask former editor Nancy Lindemeyer. She knows how and she knows what the readers long to see and read. I have every single publication of Victoria Magazine from when Nancy Lindemeyer was editor in chief. The old issues are still traded on Ebay and are considered textbooks among antique dealers. This should tell the publishers something. Elegance and refinement and romantic gracious living all in one magazine... Victoria....and I want to be among the first to subscribe.

I just wanted to express my sheer delight at the return of Victoria Magazine. It has been 4 long years since the magazine ceased publication, and I have never stopped missing it. I have great faith that the magazine will return to its previous high quality, and I wish the magazine all the success in the world! I agree with the previous posting ... bring Nancy Lindemeyer back! I think all of the changes intended to "update" the magazine towards the end of its run in 2003 are truly what led to its demise.

I am in Western Australia and used to check the newsstands weekly to see if the latest issue was in - unfortunately your June issue would arrive in our August!!! One issue a month would keep me happy until the terrible news it was to be no longer. That was when I bought about four years worth on Ebay - imagine my excitement at getting forty eight magazines in one hit instead of one a month!! I have treasured them all much to my family's confusion. I can't wait to see if the new issues go back to the heyday of Victoria and bring back the beauty in our world.

Thank heaven someone has come to their senses and is again publishing the most beautiful magazine in the world. I still read all my old back issues each month. I can't wait for the November/December issue. If dear Nancy Lindemeyer cannot take the helm perhaps she can give some direction as to whom should be in charge. The last couple of years of the magazine were not bad just not the classic Victoria we all loved.

Victoria Magazine is back?! My life is renewed! I love Victoria Magazine. I lived my life by it. I have kept every issue I ever bought since I discovered the publication. I am thrilled to pieces about this news. I am heading to B&N today to pick one up. Wow. Suddenly things are looking brighter.

This is wonderful news that the Dear Victoria Magazine is coming back. I CAN,T WAIT ! I hope it will come back like the early issues that Nancy Lindemeyer produced. Most of us who read Victoria wanted elegance, warmth and charm. Not a trendy makeover. It changed the whole feeling of the magazine. And the Victoria *feeling* was wonderful the way it was. Thank you ,thank you.

By chance I stumbled across the news today that my beloved Victoria Magazine is to be re-launched. Despite the years since the last issue, my eyes have never got out of the habit of scanning for its cover at the newsagents. Hooray!!!!! I can't wait. No magazine has ever come close to filling the gap that it left in the lives of those of us who truly loved it. Odd thing to say about a magazine, I know, but it was very special. You always knew that if you found a fellow reader you had found a kindred spirit.

I too share the feelings expressed in the previous posts. I noticed that the word "Victoria" is in the original format from when Nancy Lindemeyer was the Editor in Chief. Does anyone know who will be filling that post now. One can only hope that if they have come to their senses and revived the magazine, they will follow the original format - down to the font!

Several years ago I was fortunate enough to stumble upon some old Victoria issues at a local library, but so dismayed to learn that the magazine was no longer in print. I am thrilled to learn that such a lovely publication is returning!

When my family and I went to live in India in 1997, I felt as if I had gone into a dark hole...the culture shock was very difficult. I had, however, slipped all my back issues of Victoria in our boxes and I can't begin to tell you how much they meant to not only me but my two young teen girls. Nancy Lindemeyer, you and your team at Victoria touched my soul and my family's - I am pleased beyond words that it is back. Thank you for the integrity, gentility and quality with which you write, photograph, edit and publish.

I have just found out that my favourite magazine is coming back. I have every issue (15 years) from when I first found it. I still go over them all the time while having morning tea or chatting on the phone. I also when I go into a newsagent scan the books in the hope that it has been republished. I hope that it will also come to Australia and be available at newsagencies. This news is like receiving a beautiful bunch of flowers but you have the beauty of them for a long time.

I will add my post of hurrays to the legions of Victoria's fans who are glad that beloved magazine is coming back. The name of the new editor is Barbara Cockerham. Not sure if anyone on this board knows anything about her. I am among the many who were fans of Nancy Lindemeyer's magazine style and disliked the later version under the editor who replaced her. Let's hope the new editor can channel Ms. Lindemeyer's skills!

Is this true???? I have searched and searched watching to see if this ever was going to happen. I was so upset when it stopped publication
My treasured back issues are looking sad....Love this magazine. I have gotten so many good ideas, products, and recipes I still use to this day!

Check this link with information about where they're going with Victoria - looks promising, as they want to keep the same original style.

Victoria Magazine is a classic. There has never been another magazine to replace it in quality of design, photography, style, articles... I agree with earlier posts: the very best were the publications in the 90's and when Nancy Lindemeyer was editor-in-chief. Please bring it back in that quality! Also, the Reader to Reader section was so good (as well as the extra newsletter that was published, Friends of Victora). I still have a huge stack and even today I looked through an old issue; they never go out of style... the Summer 1997 issue is still gorgeous 10 years later.

I too am absolutely delighted to learn that Victoria is coming back!!!! I have all of my Victoria magazines on my bookshelf in the bedroom where only I can access them (to protect them of course!) and flip though every night before bed...the blissfully beautiful images, and thoughtful artistic articles...LOVE it!! I thought Peggy Kennedy did a lovely job with the light makeover (I was a little suspicious at first) and actually the issues she oversaw are some of my favorites to this day!
Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a Victoria readers holiday/conference!!
Cheers fellow readers!!
