After I've read what hard core smokers say about and to non smokers, I couldn't care less what he has to say. Just because I don't care does not mean I advocate or agree with everything he says. Hard core smokers don't care about their own health or life, why should I ?

You should care only if they are people you know and care about in your real life. If I knew more of you and you of me in the real vs. the virtual world, I believe we would be friends. My hope is that the non-smokers (not the true antis like this creep)and smokers have far more to care about than smoking or smoking bans. Personally, even though we disagree, I would care about what happens to you and a number of other non-smokers on this board...even some who have said mean things. I know I have. So, when I read something that strengthens that belief that the true fanatics among us here are simply Nazis in disguise, I would hope that all of us would call him out on it, as you did with True Grit. I am certainly not so possessed of my hatred of smoking bans that I cannot see past it. Despite my knowledge of the Democratic party's involvement and lead in smoking ban hysteria, I am still a Democrat and will vote for Obama in the fall. Democrats have historically been willing to LISTEN to their members. It is my hope that we can change the party from within.

Yes I'm sure we would be friends, most likely good friends ;) Other than being a bit(very?) scary the Grit was entertaining, and I'm almost sure he has returned. I know he harms the nons cause with his hate speach, but at this point I don't really give a fig. As for Obama I still have doubts, but I'm sure McCain is not who or what we need.

The GRIT...I love that one. I guess where this is concerned I am a bit "backward and slow to learn" as I had not connected the two. Upon thinking, I do believe you are right. I had hoped he had slipped into a permanent senior moment and was being held by restraints.

This is such a fantastic post I thought we should revisit it and savor it again. Let me reiterate, whilest I may not agree 100% with everything Smokeless State posted, I still enjoy the post and hope all new people on the forum get to see, savor and enjoy it.
