This is the type of obscene profits Pelosi is talking about. Pelosi and Obama know alot more about running healthcare than these greedy people. Since fed employees lov gov so much, lets move all fed employees to obamacare, pool their OWN money, and see if it works. If it does, then I will think about it.

Cardinal Health is not a healthcare company, and has no business in selling insurance. They distribute pharmaceuticals and medical products. The loss was related to a planned spin off of a manufacturing business.

If healthcare is reformed, its quite possible companies like Cardinal will see revenues increase due to more people being covered by insurance and needing medications and medical products.

At least there is one person on here that knows what type of business that Cardinal Health acutally does.

Wouldn't bet on it...commisars obama and is apparatchiks pelosi & reid will cause the price (not cost) of services to go through the roof.

The only meaningful reform is to let the free market do its thing get government & 3d party insurance pimps (ie state legislatures) out of the business of medicine.

Ignoring your immature socialist hyperbole, the premise that 'prices' for pharmaceuticals and medical products will increase is certainly wrong. Like the other uninformed commenter who thought Cardinal was involved in health insurance, you've not thought about your statement. Pharmaceuticals and Medical Products are not a scarce resource - they will be produced to fill demand. Adding additional insured people will allow fixed costs to be spread over a greater number of customers.
