Just another gimmick --- give us all a break…. unfortunately Paterson inherited a mess from his predecessors and it will take years to fix …we need a long term fix to NY’s fiscal mismanagement…not a quick fix to resolve many years of budgets that were passed late and made no sense …..NY is a mess !!!

Don't re-elect them. I've already emailed our folks and told them they lost my vote. At this point, I don't care about the job they've done. We need new blood in there. Vote them all out. It will send a lesson to the newbies, ignore the taxpayers at your own peril.
Having said all that...I know that my words or actions won't make a bit of difference. I'll just have to join my friends and move out of this state. It's tough to leave family and where you grew up but we're left with little choice.

In my previous response I meant to say “… certainly “ The other point I would like to mention in a article today I read that we will be $26.2 billion dollars over budget in the next three years…now my math may be rusty….but how is cutting only $427 million dollars going to fix the fiscal crisis NY State is in ?

PS: Let's get rid of 1/2 of the overpaid traffic police - The New York State Troopers.
They are in fact, the highest paid state workers.
We do not need to see a cop every 6 miles on the highway. It is a bit much.
Attrition for them, if I become Governor.
