I'm afraid there's a slim chance of finding the real person, his pic, the fake person or his pic. You could try to keep looking online but I wouldn't hold high hope of finding solid evidence.

Thanks for posting...I rec'd 2 emails after contact on Match. He sent his phone number...says he lives in Cleveland, OH. Same story...art dealer travels for business. Says he came to US from Australia with mom at age 21. Later says mom and dad killed in tragic car accident. Decided to google him before contacting and found your info. Thanks. By the way, the pics he sent are very nice and I figure they are stolen. Couldn't find matching images on google image search though.

Germany, Nigeria and the U.S. are all countries he says he has lived in....

he gave up a small piece of info that'll help you with tracking him. If you check the FBI info on scams such as these.
A majority of them are initiated from Nigeria. Also based on the spelling and arrangement of words you can tell what this person is trying to do and how far from the truth he is

Hi, I think I met another scammer on Chemestry.com George Allan MIchael. Civil Engineer left for a contract in Dubai. Daughter is 17, Mother lives in England. After 2 emails, he mentions about love. Haven't asked for money yet. He also email me a photo copy of his passport. Is this guy for real!!!
Let me know if anybody heard of this guy.

Be patient, he's in the process of setting you up, making you think he was actually located in your area. Pretty soon something bad will happen and he'll need you to rescue him. Don't fall for it!

I'd have to say ppl are getting better at this. Then again most ppl wouldn't send copies of their passports since there's a significant amount of information on there that could be used against said person
Not doubting his qualities or patience to wait and ask for the money. But I caution you to not ignore the red flags. If you went on two dates with a guy and he professed his love for you after said date would that make you feel
Use that same thought patter here and hopefully you'll get questions answered instead of being hurt

becareful out there....i met jaybeeler5493 in match.com and then he cancel. he said he travels alot to london and dominican republic...we asked me for money and i told him no....wqtch out ladies..

Becarefull of a Michael Todd in Kuala Lumpur, he says he's half italian/American . Self employed. Contacted me on match.com . And yes he wanted money. He says he has a son named Bill 17years old, live with mother in Germany . Has a brother in the U. S. Marine Robbert. Date of birth of Michael Todd feb 9 1966. Now is 46. Both parents died in car accident when he was16. He said lives in Ontario Canada ....work for dalston mill fabric ( which involves a lot of scams) has a Facebook page, nice looking guy .
He calls u babe, honey, darling, wants to marry u and always say you're the best !!!!

Match.com is real. I was a member once. However, I am giving up with white women. I like Asian beauties better. They are loyal and smart. Not high maintenance..lol

You're perspective is a pathetic statement of why you had to search out of country. White women are not "high maintenance", it's your attitude toward women that requires maintenance. I'd highly recommend that you search deeper into your own motives as to why you went outside of the USA to find "the one". Tch, tch...

Just wondering if anyone has talked to a Robert Carlo from So. Burlington, Vt. He says he is in the jewelry business,went to Kentucky for business, and is going to Ghana to pick up his goods! Red Flag! His story from the start was suspiscious! Has a proffesional photo that he sent me! His daughter died in a car accident, and has his 12yr old grandson living with him.Said we are meant for each other, without even meeting! lol BE VERY CAREFUL! THANKS!

thank you! that's exactly what I did! I have reported two other men that tried to scam me from Match.com ,last yr., this one was on the Plentyoffish site! I am very caucious about who I talk to now, and get all the information I can to investigate them! Again, BE VERY CAREFULL!
