'Life is short. Have an affair.'

A very disappointing commentary on the calibre of people that now make up a growing segment of our society. The insecurity, immaturity, and selfishness that once was recognized as negative adolescent behavior is apparently now acceptable as normal behavior in adults (although I use that term loosely). As the majority of our populace comes to believe that anything that satisfies their immediate desire is more important than any consequence, and disregards the need for self control, the hope of overcoming behavioral social issues such as child or spouse abuse, obesity, teacher/student abuse, and tragedies like Columbine is seriously undermined. Years ago Tocqueville said America is great because Americans are good. Societies are made up of individuals - once the majority of those individuals have become irresponsible and undisciplined gluttons for every passing pleasure, there's not much hope of forward progress.

I am sickened. What about the spouses? Even "safe sex" isn't 100% safe. Is the spouse going to se it the same way? That they are "takeing care of themselves" when they have contracted something from an unfaithful partner? These people need to think of thier family instead of themselves.

If you're gonna cheat...why even get married?

While it may be tempting to some the "momentary fun" doesn't out weigh the emotional devastation to your spouses life, your own or your childrens. You will be found out eventually. I'm guessing and probably right that 99% of cheaters get busted. As far as STD, what a nightmare. Years ago all it took was a shot of penicillin to cure VD. NOW you can catch stuff they can't fix with a simple shot and AIDS can and still does kill. PLUS it's a horrible death. Nope, I'm staying close to home. The grass may look greener in the other pasture but once you get over there it's full of stickers and thorns..

It is sad to see News9 lowering their bar to cheap trash news. What type of value system are you proposing. The article did not give any facts about the destruction that affairs do. You did list a few lines to judge if someone may be cheating. But the type of value that this web site caters to should no be promoted. Will News9 promote a Porn site next ????????

I wouldn't be surprised at anything anymore, sigh. Frankly, I get so tired of all this "in your face" blatant sexuality being promoted constantly and from every avenue and corner of life. It's as if most of the population doesn't have a thought originating above the navel 99% of the time. I guess I'm old fashioned in this sense, that people loose some of their "sweetness" and innocence when they focus on sex constantly.

I think that it is really sad that "Tony" feels it is ok to go outside his marrage. He took vows with his wife, and the mother of his children. How would he feel if she did and he is doing. Cheating is never right, and I don't care what excuse you use, it is wrong morally . Tony says he has children by his wife, how is he going to feel if the children were to see him or find out that he cheated with another woman on their mother. This can cause alot of pain for all.

Your need for affection has a name it's called lust , maybe your wife will sign up
on the site and revalidate you. Your a great example for your children, Adulterer.

Now this is news! I'm tired of reading about how "this person was assaulted/stabbed/shot/robbed/ ran-over" by mysterious individuals who (despite eye witness accounts) lack any semblence of physical description. This report gives me hope. Thank you KOTV, for I did not think you could suck any more ass. I stand corrected. KOTV can suck infinately more ass than I could possibly imagine. Thank you for expanding my capacity for contempt of the media.

That is sick! With broken families everywhere and children going to bed each night in single parent households, the last thing we need is more adultery leading to many more broken homes. The leading cause of poverty in America is single parent households (look it up!). So - we want more drain on the Federal budget with more moms on welfare, SS, food stamps, etc?

I was surprised to see this "news" article on one of my favorite TV channel sites. The article seems to promote adultery, even providing website information for those who might see/read this story and be tempted to participate in this kind of sickening "fun." (Quotes are my own.) I am not physically well 100% of the time. And I don't want my spouse going out and taking part in something that is not only morally wrong (reference: The Ten Commandments), but that could also result in my suffering and/or death from a disease my spouse could bring to our marriage bed. I'd like to know who at KOTV approved this "news" story's release.

I cannot believe that KOTV would post a story like this. Shame on you! Where are your values? This is outrageous and the idiot who posted "nothingathome" needs to find a real meaning to love and life! This is a disgusting story and by far NEWS! The editor who allowed this as a story needs to be fired.

I also feel that a story like this should not have been showed. I also think that if you want to cheat that you apparently are not truly happy in your relationship. Save your spouse and your children the heartache and just slit up and try to find someone that truly makes you happy and fulfills your needs. Why should your family have to suffer because you are unhappy, it's not their fault. Cheating is wrong, if your needs are not fulfilled, move on! Don't waste your spouses life!

Also, if your wife doesn't make you happy than don't be with them. I am sure there is someone out there that would love to make THEM happy. And if you can't find anyone that fullfills all your needs than there is something wrong with you and you need to get your head checked unstead of being a worthless, lieing, cheating spouse!

I think that the stations needs to take this story and its videos off their website, and i'm not sure that I will ever watch their news again. I don't think it's right to air a story like this when we already have so many broken homes and especially in Oklahoma, now their is going to be a lot of people thinking "well, if everyone thinks it's ok then why not". I am so disgusted with this.
