I am an African American girl who has been in a relationship with an indian boy (I mean almost right off the boat Indian) for over three years now. I live in an area that is heavily populated with Indians and Middle Easterns. From what I have seen is that Indian girls are more likely to enter into interracial relationships then Indian boys. Something I also noticed is that if an Indian guy does enter into one its typicaly a white girl. Mainly because (as my boyfriend explains it) one its not good to date any one who isnt Indian but if you are not then it is prefered that they are white and two being dark is not something that is looked at as being attractive for most indians. Many Indian girls bleach their skin because of this, basicaly your children are not supposed to have darker skin then the typical Indian skin complection. I have never met another couple that was an Indian boy and an African American girl before this is something that both me and my boyfriend had even looked up because we wondered if we were the only ones and found out that 1% Indian men marry/date African American girls while Indian men marry/date 10% white girls. I think that its really hard to be in a relationship with an Indian guy because of the culture, traditions with any ethnicity but I do beleive that its a little more exceptable for an Indian man to date a white girl.

My girlfriend is puerto rican and i am a FOB fresh of boatindian to canada, about almost three years ago. my parents have been in the states FOB for about 12years and i haven't seen them yet.. due to family problems and financial crisis they had to leave their country and make a living. so i pretty much grew up on my own since i was 12. i am a decent looking guy.. people in Canada don't think i am Indian.. they say i look completely Latino.. noone has ever judged me as indian. its my girlfriend and future wife for sure knewi was indian and we both are in deep love.. there are some problems to be dealt with.and we both are fighting with them together..when i think about life without her it is impossible.. and falling in love with her is the most amazing thing happened to me ever.. i have no clue if i would be able to find a girl like that ever so i am gonna do anything it takes to be with her forever, and this is a characteristic about an indian if he or she falls in love with someone and makes their life complete would do anything to keep their promise, which is there ego. and most indian guys are very loyal in their relationship unlike anyone else. no offense to anyone.. thats how i feel.and i always wanted to spend rest of my life with a latina. and my gurl understand everything about indian culture. most important she loves watching russel peters..lol
