This is one of the most depressing threads I have ever read. Loads of hate filled idiots spewing out their disgusting bile. The curse of the internet. But it was really heart warming to see some intelligent comments by noip and a few others, restoring my faith in humanity. I'm a white guy and my girlfriend is from the Philippines. We're with each other for no other reason than we love each other. We met in England where we worked together, became very close friends and eventually started dating each other. The idea that I might be with her because secretly I really fancy ten year old boys is quite funny I suppose, but how in the hell do people get to thinking that kind of shit?! No matter, let's leave those idiots to live out their disappointing little lives in ignorance, and the rest of us can just get on and love the ones we love, whatever continent they come from.

There are multiple factors why you see this. 1. American media and Hollywood's portrayal of Asian men. I'm sure that many saw the ESPN commercial of the Asian guy fainting in the sports locker room because of a dislocated finger. Seriously, who does that? How many movies or tv shows have you seen where the Asian guy even gets the girl (even an Asian girl)? Even if they get them, I think I can only think of one or two instances where you even see them kiss the girl. 2. The stereotypical belief that Asian women are "pure". This in fact is the opposite. Asian women are much more promisuous than Causasian women. They are good at lying about it. For you guys that have slept with an Asian girl, how many times have you heard that you were only the second or third guy they ever slept with. Don't believe them. You are probably the 50th or 100th or 200th guy. Also, every Asian girl that I know dating a Causasian guy (and I know very many) is also sleeping around with Asian men. The like the fact that Caucasian men are so naive and trusting.
