Scam artists using the identity of our military personnel in dating scams

Just because he hasn't asked for money doesn't mean he hasn't hacked into her computer to get the information he needs to blackmail her in other ways
Most ppl may not notice their information being stolen in this manner. Doesn't mean it's not or hasn't already occured. She needs to change everything and run away from this person. Literally and figuratively

yeah barbara are you sure he's not asked for money?or is she just tellinng you that? some men and women are in denial when it comes to these scammers and as gsd trainer 757 said he could be hitting her up through her computer and she doesn't know it .I pray she get,s a grip before it's too late.and www age loving .com right now ....who cares??? there are way too many scams on the internet, and every site. you'd do better dating in person bcause you see what the potential is up front it doesn't mean that theyre any better but at least youre looking at the real person and not a stolen photo.

yes I have been scammed by this man from July 14-yesterday for over $6000.He claims he is in Turkey thanks to me for his flight & in holding at the Instanbul Turkey Airport Lodge.He is now telling me that he can not be released unless I send another $2000.but I am tapped out & really wish I would of seen this Earlier.I am shellycampbell1972@comcast.net if you would like to contact me.

make sure you're not being tapped through your computer for the same information

to show you how low these people are I just received an e-mail in my daughters name . when I asked my daughter if she had sent me an e-mail she replied mom I dont have a computer and I dont even know your e-mail address why would I need to send you an e-mail we talk daily.needless to say I went a head an opened the e-mail It was about some work from home garb and it came from this site:http//airplast.combn.com- content -needless to say I left a few choice words for the sender at the end I found out it was from a scammer site. I dont see how these peopl sleep at night they dont care what wrong is and this is more than sad it's pitiful. how they got my daughters name? it must have been after yahoo warned me that my computer had been hacked. and lastnight I went to spokeo .com logged In his name and bam he's on numerous dating sites including match.com so if any one comes across a man calling himself Lecain Howard from louisville ,ky stationed in afghanistan .....RUN,RUN,RUN,...as fast as you can. the real lecain howard lives in florida and he's 82 years old and has never been in the military.

I am also receiving these work at home e-mails. The say Hey what's Up ??? I delete everything that I do not know who sent them right away. Some way we should contact someone to do a story about this scamming so the word get's out there.
Shelly , take our advise and do what we are telling you. Honey , never send money to a man. That is unless he is your family.

This guy is still at it. heard from him on a dating webiste. very believable

Mel ive seen this guys profile he is definately a scammer he's also on military friends .com also a friend of mine was approached by a mark smith on care2friends .com a facebook dating site I have a guide on how to recognize these scammers right off and since ive studied it ive been right on . ive posted on page 20 or 21 a few examples on how to know if youre dealing with a scammer these are only a few tell tell signs so if it's still up go back and look it over take a few of these notes for yourself .as ive stated the guide ive got is really long but again ive only posted a few ...goodluck .

Hey have any of you ladies come across an E6 staff sgt allegedly from Germany who is in Iraq at the moment called James clerk or James clarkson . I am feeling very doubtful that he is genuine . Nothing more than gut instinct at he moment . He did ask me for money and I said I had none, I then said I thought he was a scammer but he remains in constant contact with me even knowing I do not have money. I notice most of you live elsewhere rather then the uk but it is happening here as well.

scam Queen of course he's a scammer he's only contiuing chats hoping to gain your trust. and then he will approach you for funds again it's this way if you ask a snake if he bites what do you think he's going to say? uh-no of course until he has you where he wants you. after I was scammed I met another scammer and when I asked him if he was a scammer he said oh no I heard about those guys Im not one so we cotinued to talk until I did the investigation for myself and caught him in lies.and another thing take a fools advice pay attention to your gut feelings had I paid attention to mine before I was scammed I wouldn't be a victim too.and another thing it'going on everywhere cut him off now before you wish you had he's playing with you.

Scam Queen let me also add that any real military soldier doesn't need your money the military takes care of theyre needs so any soldier that ask for money is a scammer .my brother was startioned in ft.hood in killeen ,tx and as he stated to me they either get paid once a month or wevery 2 weeks ,and most soldiers who are stationed in afghanistan ,or Iraq they send the majority of there funds home to acrue when they get out. so yes this guys playing a game with you .sadly for me alot of things I found out after I was scammed.and also they are very possesive they don't want you to tell anyone that youre talking to them had I spoken with my brother during the time I was dealing with this scammer I wouldn't be out of money, and I wouldn't be on topix but it was after I had been scammed that I started asking questions and doing research. if you google the name he's using it will maybe show you this name is connected to other victims thats how I ended up here.

I guess I already knew the answer really deadra and I have spent most of today gong back through all of our conversations of the last two weeks, there are so many blatant repeats of things i have read on scamming sites such as words of love and endearments it would make me laugh if I didn't feel so sick and stupid at the moment. I am so glad I never sent money. I have seen him on web cam and he has seen me but nothing risqué I am too straight laced for anything like that. He found me on a dating website called oasis and everything he did and said fits the scammers profile , I just did not realise it until today when I came across this page whilst doing a search for info on his alleged army career. I am so sorry that you got scammed and keep up your great posts to try and prevent the scamming of others

I have googled the name but it comes up clean . I don't think the uk has as many sites for this sort of thing as th states do. He picked the wrong person in me really because my father and ex husband are both uk military so I am pretty up to date on that side of things. The money he asked for was for his alleged sons birthday, his son supposedly lives in the ukand he waned me to do a bank transfer as he said everywhere was shut where he is based due to Ramadan . I am also pretty certain that all troops were pulled from Iraq some time ago but as he claims to be German army I am not able to verify that part. I have set my pc so I can run an ISP check when he comes online today so I will let you know how I get on

Well it looks as though my gut instinct was right , I managed to get his ip address tonight and it comes up as being in Ghana , no real surprise there I suppose but I am saddened that he is not the person I thought him to be. Life is horrible sometimes and i feel as though i have been kicked again when i am already down. I suppose I put myself out here to be treated this way. I am alone after a marriage that lasted 20 years because my husband decided he wanted to be single again and having said that in my dating site ad I guess I'm easy pickings for them, just thankful that I never sent him money. He does know that i have a large settlement coming once the marital home is sold so thats probably why hebkeeps coming back to me lol. I have e mailed him and said I know what he is up to and I will see if he replies with the usual crap . Ironically tonight he was trying to get me to talk about sex with him and wanted me to put my web cam on so he could see me. I refused as I said I had other people here in the house. He also told me that he has a date to fly home in October now and we would be together , like hell we will! I will post again if I get a reply to my e mail.

in case you haven't already changed the passwords to all your electronic accounts and also cleaned out any vital information off your computer, I'd highly suggest you do so
Again just Because a direct route is sought after to get money from you doesn't mean they're not using every possible indirect route to drain you as well
Take further action and protect yourself

amen gsdtrainer757...scam queen don't be so down on yourself thank God you found out .also he's not going to leave you alone these people are very persistent they will even call your home. and as gsd trainer 757 advised change alk of your passwords,codes etc.. bcause they use devices to get into your computer easily.they will steal from you without your knowledge remember evil people don't sleep until their work is done.also don't kick yourself pick yourself up dust it off hold your head up take a deep breathe stick your chest out and exhale and get back in the dating race as I mentioned in an earlier post don't let them convince you that youre not worthy to be loved theres somebody out there for you .but now you know like the rest of us online dating is scarry.and these scammers are all over the web.from online dating,to pretending tobe a little child needing help for a family member ,and promising you that theyre willing to share money with you bcause theyre of royalty or bcause theyve found saadam husseins millions . just becareful cause theyre always looking for fresh bait to scheme.
