That's like saying "Don't step in the prairie poop". Nobody WANTS to step in the poop. Only Texas would make a bumper sticker of the obvious!

Assault on Texas liberties?

Give me a break.

I did think the hypocrosy got a little thick with this paragraph...

"Obama’s ignoring of Texas illegal immigration problems has forced the state to spend almost $8 billion annually for protection and crime associated with these issues."

Really? Well, how about that Governor of yours creating all those jobs and then standing back and watching while illegal labor filled them?

Didn't Perry also suggest that it was "heartless" to deport illegal immigrants?

Texas needs to stop whinning, grow a pair and deal with their own shortcomings before they start blaming everyone else.

I live in Indiana. We recently passed our own strict immigration enforcement laws and I support them.

Texas can't even manage that...especially with a Governor whose economic "miracle" depended on illegal labor.

What the hell is your problem Texas?

Seriously, after giving us Bush and then Perry, Texas can sit down and STFU as far as I'm concerned.

BTW...Texas wasn't going to support Obama anyway.

The governor is busy recovering from his taxpayer paid-for back operation. As soon as he's well, he'll work on getting those illegals into A&M for a freebie degree on wrexas taxpayer's dime.

I forgot about that, but you're right.

Governor Perry was the one that started this whole "dream act" thing wasn't he?

So, why is the schmuck that wrote this article blaming Obama and not Perry for Texas' immigration problems?

Texas doesn't have an immigration problem. It has an illegal entrant problem. And because these illegals can't be stopped here in Texas, the problem will be yours tomorrow.

Obama cannot even count on the Texas Latinos to help him out.

The Post has an article titled "Texas Latinos poised for no House gains despite population boom, new districts"

It's a good read.
