I want to find a gasoline brand that contains no ethanol, for use in my motorcycle.

There is a Hess station close by that is open 24 hours and that I frequent often.

Does anyone know if Hess uses ethanol in their gasoline?

Or, can someone please tell me of any brand or company that uses no ethanol whatsoever in their gasoline.

Thanks in advance for any answers and advice.

-Ward

My Hess/Wilco (in Virginia) put a 10% ethanol sticker on the pump 2 weeks ago. I did not buy the gas. I checked at sheetz - 10% sign on pump. The Shell in Maryland - 10% ethanol sign on pump. Only Marathon in my town does not have the sign, but it may have the ethanol. SO - I also would like to know if there is gas without ethanol available. It's not like the price went down when the ethanol went in. And i want my engine to last a while.

So you'd rather speed up global warming than maybe have your engine last a few days less?

There is no solid dota that shows ethanol to help with global warming, but plenty to show it hurts the performance and gas mileage of your engine.Give us our gas back or find something better than ethanol!

I agree with WKO. The problem these days is people carry a slogan 'Global Warming' withoout proper understanding. Looks like it is very stylish to talk these things. The reason behind this GW puppet show is to contain the growth in the developping countries and to export the technology from Developped countries.

Also have you noticed what is happening on the world food crisis? Don't worry, will hit Developped nations too, is a matter of few years.

Coming to the topic I too interested in the gas without ethanol.

People around the world are beginning to starve because of ethanol and the huge demand for corn. Let's go back to 100% gas for now, so their will be food for people. good luck trying to find gas without ethanol or all kinds of additives in it. I don't think anyone will find any stations not using ethanol in their so-called gas.

The earth has been warming and cooling and warming and cooling for eons. It is a natural cycle. The latest warming cycle ended in 1998 and the earth has been cooling for the past 10 years. All the insane government environmental policies will have no effect on climate but they will cause massive unemployment and widespread poverty. And I mean REAL poverty, not the American version, where poor people get fat and live in air conditioned homes with big screen TVs.

The Chevron by me has no enthanol. Costs a little more, but saves the seals on BMW fuel pumps. Better gas mileage also to reduce global warming. If anyone knows of any other station brands please post. The Marathon by me has ethanol. Does anyone think the food we are buying is getting expensive? I hope that is not ethanol.

There IS NO global warming..you are watching too much TV or listening to Al Gore and his band of idiot followers. The last time the global temp rose was 1998 and in 2007 the global temp fell .7 degrees...the largest drop since the 1930's. Global warming is a scam for MONEY. Ethanol is about money too. Ethanol produces about HALF the energy that gasoline produces...so adding ethanol means burning MORE fuel to get the same energy ouput. We save nothing...some people are getting rich in the commodity market is all. Ethanol is a SOLVENT which is actually harmful to many auto, boat and car parts. Hence more repairs/replacements sooner...again MONEY..GREED.

Ethanol isn't brand specific, since the tankers at the depot take gas from the same source, no matter what the brand. If they take it from an ethanol/gas tank, the gas at your statio will have ethanol, whether it's Shell or BP or Exxon. If they get it from an ethanol-free tank, which are almost impossible to find, it'll be 100% gas.
The only 100% gas I've been able to find in many states is Citgo, but that's Cesar Chavez juice, so you have an ethical/economical decision to make.

come on man global warming is BS Nasa even said so! You suckers would believe anything coming from the mouths of idiots like Al Gore, Al Sharpton, Nancy Pelosi, and Pat Robertson. Listen, most people who are the slightest bit intelligent will take information coming from other people (especially politicians) and cut it in half , and then only believe and eighth of that.

Citgo stations here in central Alabama have the 10% ethanol stickers on their pumps. Costco also has a 10% ethanol sticker. I lose gas mileage on these ethanol blends.

There is one Madison, WI station owner boasting he will not put ethanol in his gas. What station is it? If you know please post or send me an email at wjdrscll@chorus.net. Gotta find one for son's motorcycle.
