is it just me or is there a pattern: he'll only return the money if he's called out on it? at least thats how it seems from this story.

I call them "re-treads"! This guy has been around forever; schoolboard, city council. He'll run for any office with anyone's money but his own. Any job the guy's had it's been in the public sector. Last time I checked, he wasn't even a college grad but he's smart enough to FOOL the public. As in the earlier post, he just returned the contibution because he was caught!! Keep up the investigative work Daily Breeze on these slicksters!! Dana Rohrbacher should be NEXT!!!

Culture of Corruption

Another example of the Democrat Culture of Corruption which so characterizes Kalifornia politics. From Pelosi to Leiu we have the same gerrymandered crooks running our lives while lining their pockets.
When are YOU going to get upset about this? When are you going to STOP VOTING for Democrats and start demanding a real CHANGE in government?

"Nominal Opposition"? Is it the role of the reporter to characterize people this way? Has Gene taken a poll that backs up this statement?
And will the Breeze publish the name(s) of the "nominal opposer"?
Bad journalism guys.

I really don't like democrats.
But I am a Japanophile. And I like oil and chemicals...
The chemlab known as Saunders Hall at Auburn had the most wonderful chemical aroma, before the idiots tore the building down.
I love the smell of a refinery, it invokes many wonderful and positive memories of the plants in Saudi Arabia.....
Oh, the nostalgia.........

Lay off Warren. He's a good and decent man. Besides, everyone knows that only L.A. City Councilmembers can be bought off for as little as $1000

Yeah, why not? Better an intelligent Republican crook (a rare species in California) than the ubiquitous corrupt dimwitted Democrat. BDD wrote: <quoted text>Who do you suggest, a Republican crook?

Haters

All you people are haters. Warren has been doing a great job representing the people of the 55th district. Get out of your parent's basement and make a difference yourself instead of talking crap behind the veil of fake names on a message board. It's so easy to spew hateful words and ignorant slings when you're not face-to-face with someone. Come out to the public forum on the budget that's coming up and stand up for your idiotic opinions.

Susan wrote: He needs that money to pay for his new lawn... Do you feel better after saying that? Don't waste the message board's space with childish comments like that. Provide substance or keep it shut.

Let's vote for Republicans that cheat (mistress, hookers, anonymous men in airport restrooms), lie/mislead (wmd's, real reason for war in Iraq), can't finish a job (Bin Laden?), or are treasonous (the Plame affair). The Republicans are looking real good nowadays.
