Giving away the people's money to corporate welfare companies is NOT creating jobs. Isn't Diebold the infamous company that tried to rig the electronic ballot machines? No wonder KKK (King Kasich & Ko.) are keen to keep them. They are on the same team!

Still waiting to hear about some actual job creation. Though, in other news, a bunch of teachers in Pickerington just lost their jobs, so that should help out the local economy nicely...

When will the Dispatch correctly report that Bob Evans execs admitted they were never leaving the state!

What an effing joke. Diebold has been in Canton since the 19th century, and we're supposed to believe that the company was going to suddenly uproot and move out of state? BWAHAHAHA! And idiots like "watcher" just suck it up. Companies threaten this crap all the time to get more tax breaks. Usually the ODOD issues a press release that mentions a couple of far-flung locales that never stood a snowball's chance in hell of landing said company. And then the reporters throw the press release away. But noooo. That's not good enough for Johnny Boy. His popularity is so damned low that he will create a fake crisis to show that he "saved the day." HAHAHAHAHA! Good luck with the dog and pony show today, you fraud...

It's sad to see but if you ask Jesus John those aren't real jobs and that won't affect the unemployment numbers.

Diebold is being rewarded for allegedly helping the rethugs to rig electronic voting machines. Also weren't there illegal campaign contributions from Diebold employees in the past?

If these companies were seriously considering leaving the state in the first place, what is he telling them (that we don't know about) to keep them here?

Why didn't they save travel costs and just do the "announcement" at Wally O'Dell's Tremont Road mansion in Upper Arlington?

SB5 Will never become law though, it's universally hated and will be struck down in the November election. More likely, like with Bob Evans, these companies were never leaving in the first place and only spoke up to get tax breaks. Again, no job creation.

Unions & dems must accept that there has been a lot of companys relocate from Ohio to other states because of their anti-business attitude. We should be thankful that we have a governor who is willing to take the political risks to save jobs. Unions need to start thinking about ways to help businesses become more competetive, rather than constant anti-business rhetoric.

Another rigged election is in our future. Kasuck is wants more than 49% of the vote and knows just how to get it. Don't be surprised when your next ballot only has one selection and no write in option.

NCR had been in Dayton since its beginings and what did they do? Thats right packed up and got out of Ohio. Business moves to most profitable area when possible, even if that doesn't mean additional revenue but just keeping more of the current revenue stream rather than handing to government(s)
