Yes the good jobs are leaving the area and the local town governments want to raise taxes.

The bubble will burst and the "chickens" will come home to roost. Who will pay the high taxes then?

Blame the Democrats lack of action- THEY are in control of Congress!!!

Blame the upper classes who want more and more for their investments without working for anything. "What? We did not make 20% profit??? Lay people off!!!"

Housing costs are less in the mid-west, but don't think that these folks who move won't take a pay cut to make their salaries commensurate with the cost of living where they are going.

Check out Murray Martin's (CEO of PB) salary in the January issue of Connecticut magazine.

Operations have to move to a cheaper state to sustain that!

Many, many people are losing their jobs and yet our present government wants to fill the quotas of Iraqui people who are eligible to come to America. I thought I wasn't reading it correctly and had to re-read the article in the newspaper. Just tell us where they will work? Will they take the place of the American layoffs?????

The more that move out, the more real estate becomes a buyers market.. I love it, sell, sell, sell, move, move, move.. Keep those homes prices coming down!!!
