Typical fossil fuels industry claptrap. The natural gas industry already exists. It should use some of the immense profits it generates elsewhere to develop the natural gas fields in Pennsylvania. "Pennsylvania's natural gas reserves, while large and close to destination markets, only remain attractive investments if costs are carefully controlled and expenses minimized." The environmental and other costs of development to the state are likely to be huge, and the industry doesn't want to have to pay for them. My heart bleeds for those poor billionaires. If developing the natural gas fields isn't sufficiently attractive to the industry, it can leave the gas in the ground. It would be nice to know who funds the Commonwealth Foundation.

Tax them to death the way they looted my wallet during the past 2 winters. They made billions in profits from price manipulation, let them pay the price of exploration.

You really want them to pay the price for Exploration. Okay. I want you to go work for free. The oil and gas companies are BUSINESSES, they don't work for free. Right now prices are low, and a lot of whats going on now is to not lose more money. The reason the price is so inflated is regulations due to environmental regulations. So you will see your gas bill triple some time in the future with the attitude like that. The gas companies aren't going to work for free, and neither would you, and when the economy gets going again, there will be a shortage of gas, and prices will again go higher. WAY higher. when the prices go up, then they will drill on a large scale again. You have to add on another couple dollars per mmbtu's to the price for it to be cost effective. Loosen Enviromental regulations and costs, and you will keep your gas cheap. The oil companies don't want to destroy everything, and I have worked on a drilling rig, and we took good care of the environment. Or you can get to where there is no more natural gas, and you can starve to stay warm and go places, or go back to burning wood to stay warm, and with todays populations using that as a fuel to stay warm, watch the forests die really fast. So if you are for the environment, DON'T drive a car, don't burn wood or gas or use electricty to heat or cool your home. Don't live in a house, wood goes to building that, which destroys the forest. Just find fallen branches and build a shelter and live happy and enjoy your view while you freeze and starve.

Following environmental regulations so they don't poison us, and footing the bill for exploration instead of charging us billions. The energy industry has made billions in NET profits in recent years. That's AFTER deducting the cost of energy exploration. ExcUUUUUUUSE me for not shedding a tear for them.
