Natural Gas Commercials

Hello there folks normally i dont care or post about natural gas or oil,but recently ive been seeing commercials about natural gas how cheap it is and how much we have....natural gas may be cheap but when it reaches us the consumer where is the savings?
roughly 10 or so years ago when vectren took over DPL side of the consumer gas prices rocketed so high knowone could afford it.When DPL billed for gas my normal cost was about 40 to 120 a month for a 2 bedroom brick ranch when vectren took over my first bill was 700 dollars and didnt decline much for the first 6 months now 10 or so years later finally it dropped in price ...about half that wich is still rediculouse so tell me if this country is depending on gas to survive we as consumers or not going to ....unless something is done about the companies,understandably my Electric bill has risen but honestly maybe 20 percent in 10 years cap the gas or the big wiggs this is to much

i currently have eltric heat,radiant in the cielings of my home and im looking to put natural gas in.(line is run already)ugi is the supplyer and im woundering if the monthly bill will be as much as eltric,and keep the house warmer? the current bills for the fall have been 200$ or just under.the former owner was paying 300$ to 400$ in the winter!!oh man i dont no what to do!!!!does anyone have firm advice,,please help if you can
