would greatly increase growth, traffic,?congestion and taxes in
Markham?by:

increasing Markham's population by 50%(151,000 people) over the next 22
years;

2.-
sprawling onto 730 hectares (7 square kilometres) of prime farmland and
greenspace in?Markham, destroying Markham's
countryside.
?
Many?Markham Councillors are prepared to fight
York Region's attempt to impose unrealistic?growth?and sprawl
in?Markham but they need your support.

Chambers) on Monday November 9th at 7 pm to?discuss your
concerns and ways to?

protect Markham's quality of life and countryside
by:

a)
slowing and better controlling growth;

Growing the Greenbelt to protect Markham's
