Well, you could have taken care of yourself, instead of waiting for the Government take care of you.

Good - I hope they win big. There was no excuse for how the government failed under Katrina - thanks Brownie and George. As for people "taking care of themselves" - so easy for you to say you jerk.

I would think that a free trailer provided by the gov, would be a **** site better than living under a tree. Typical whining freeloaders, who sue after something is provided to them. Get the hell out then, and let someone who appreciates the house use it. The trailers are no different than the ones bought by people as a cheaper way to live.
actually the trailers are different, they are made out of materials that leak fumes that cause people to become ill. if i offered you a free meal with arsenic in it, would you eat it???

The woman in the court case says it made her son's asthma worse. What would have the outcome of his asthma if they had no place to sleep? Evidently, you can bite the hand that feeds you, and get by with it.

Truly logical, all of this with the trailers took place under the Bush/Cheney watch... so of course it's an example of what health care reform under Obama would be like. Shear genius I tells ya!

actually if the boy was sleeping outside in the fresh air, his asthma may not have been effected as heavily as it was. i am not for suing the government, but i do agree that they used shoddy materials to build the trailers.

Obama needs to stop opposing buying health insurance across state lines

Fresh air, as in cold raining nights? It does get cold there in the winter at night.

Why this, Why now, is this really the worst thing the US GOV has done? I think not, considering they caused the entire KATRINA disaster, but no, lets not sue them for that, lets just take what we can get and settle for scraps they give us. Oh yeah, we better be very very thankful too.

i agree we need to be able to buy our healthcare from who ever we want to, no matter what state the insurance company is located, but this has nothing to do with a lawsuit over the fema trailers. i believe they are working in congress right now to iron out the interstate insurance deal, i believe the main problem is that insurance across state lines is not a cure all for medical problems, and the right wing wants the sales across state lines as an alternative to a public option, and/or other reforms, personally i think we need both.

yes it sure does, but the clean air still might be better for him than the closed confines of a trailer that is giving off fumes, i still don't think this lady should sue....we live in a society that is far too litigious.

I think this is exactly the answer. Don't hand them a trailer...if you didn't have insurance and you chose to not live with friends/relatives, then go live in a campground. Oh, and buy your own tent...you won't like the 'fumes' from the ones we are giving away FOR FREE.

The people that are in the trailers don't know any life other than lawsuits and handouts...THAT is the problem.

when I say "of which you are captain" I am not talking about Incredible70, I speak of anyone with similar dead ended ideals. So don't take it personally or think that I am being hypocritical and calling you names.

While I don't doubt that people with money are more likely to file business lawsuits, have you ever watched TV. Every one of the people on the 'have you been injured in an accident' people is trailer trash..and they are the ACTORS that play the real plaintiffs. When a lawyer comes around offering money for free, they will jump on board every time.
