SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA and SAN DIEGO, CA -- -- 02/06/12 -- Benitec Biopharma and Medistem announced today the successful treatment of rheumatoid arthritis in preclinical models using Benitec Biopharma's patented gene silencing technology applied to stem cell-derived immune system cells called dendritic cells.

It is a very innovative idea to combine stem cells with siRNA or in benitec's case shRNA
