There is no vindication for Polly at all. It's just attorney jargon. The University of Minnesota breeds conflict of interest and is unwilling to admit that they have created the monster that everyone is trying to push out the door. If you simply google the Regents Policy on unethical academic behavior half of the research professors should be looking for a new job.

Without the U.of M. and all other Research/Teaching Inst. there would not be any Diagnostic, Theraputic or Life Support modalities. The men and women from these Colleges/Universities and their partnerships with manufacturers brought about all of the above. They deserve both intrinsic and extrinsic rewards.Grassley lacks the understanding that this has been the case since Hippocrates. P.
