No, not at all to the wig comment. And headbanger's Ball is not a good representation of Metal. too many freaken -core bands to have it sanctioned by the Metal community.

Most metal bands do not go for that real evil look.

Cannibal Corpse and Nile are two of the most brutal bands out there, yet they look like normal people. never would guess they are major Metalheads if you encountered them on the street.
