Maybe they have a history of suicide and all that other stuff becuz of us. the people that always give them shit for it, prsonaly im on both sides i just wish we could all get along. thank you.

hey i just like to say thanks Miles for understanding how us goths feel and handle things that we can't handle. Unlike NOB from Granite Bay, CA he just judges us by our cover or the way we look. Once people like him get to know us goths he won't be saying stuff like he has been. He can't believe everything he reads and hears. so here's some advice NOB stop critisizing. Until you can prove your facts then keep your mouth shut.

goths aren't bad and only people with serious problems kill them self goths are mostly depressed and even though they are they still have talent like writeing and some goths like to act in plays people say goths only ware black not some goths ware color most people get the wrong ideal about goths i should know my friends are gothic oh and anther thing not all goths worship the devil like some think they do

I'm goth but I'm not trying to kill myself. Hell I go to a church and were my short Trip school girl skirt and a NBC shirt. Yeah I used to cut myself but doesn't mean that i was trying to kill myself. I was trying to get some attention from my parents. And don't call us freaks, we choosen a way to stand out of the 'politically correct' standreds set my the goverment. If you have a problem why don't you go and find someone who is goth and ask them yourself why they are goth. Hell we pay more for our cloths then you do! Try finding black make up before Halloween, Try finding a site that is just for the goth crowd. HELL i was looking for a gothic teen forum and stumbled on this little discosion.

Nothing wrong with you kid(I'm old, way old). Most of us look for attention from someone. It doesn't mean we are nuts or stupid or despondent. It means we want attention from the people we love and who are supposed to love us. This doesn't always happen. If possible get a pet. A puppy, kitten, turtle,gold fish, an ant farm, whatever. But get something you are too important to the human race to get rid of yourselves. One of you may have the answer to global warming, or Eboli, or autism etc. Don't take your life from us. You will find love, and have you ever said to those you are trying to get attention from, I LOVE YOU< PLEASE HELP ME? It might help. Good luck

Just to ask, you call them gothic why? Because of their clothing. But have you ever thought what they could be going through? Torment at home? Relationship problems? Illesses they may have? I don't think so. They wear black to hide themselves, not wanting to burden others with their pain, I know, I am the same. I have problems at home that I don't want to talk about, so I hide. Just think back to a hard time in your life, didn't you want to kill yourself? I know I did, every time I think about those times. But those who want them to "Kill themselves because we don't need those freaks" are in actual fact freaks themselves. We all are freaks compared to one another. Your wives, your children, your husbands, your parents, your friends. They are all freaks, all different compared to you. So stop telling us to kill ourselves, we get enough of it from ourselves as it is, we don't need you encouraging us.

Nothing bad with Goths? How about Kimveer Gill? Sure he's only one in 600K people on VampireFreaks.com but you can't deny the whole Goth thing didn't influence his killing spree!

Goths are merely messed up teens. I was a rebel when I was a kid too. But I grew up. So did the Hippies before me. Eventually the "goth generation" will also grow up.

In the meantime we can just dismiss them as nothing more than pissed off teens and hope they don't spawn too many Kimveer Gill types.

PS: I know Kimveer was 25 and not a teen anymore. some 25 year olds still act like teens ya know. Some people simply never grow up.

Beside the point, you are grouping us all like that! Yeah, I am a pissed off teen, but it isn't the fact that I am so that makes me 'Gothic', it is why. People don't understand that! You try having your mother die when you were thirteen and live with an emotional, abusive father. Ok, it isn't as bad as some of the other 'Goths' but it is bad enough! So for Christ sake!
We will grow up, correct, but we will still hold the anguish of our childhood and adolescent years in our heads...

Try a place called classmates. Even if she isn't there,m aybe someone will know where she is or whatever. I got in touch with an old (at my age everything is old) friend after about 35 years. ok look.....we aren't freaks or weird ....we're just different in ur eyes compared to wat u consider normal....just like u seem different to our eyes b/c a ghetto compared to a goth or a preppy compared to a goth is SOOOOO not even comparable!!...and NEVER ever incourage sum1 to kill themself "freak" or not...cuz if they do u must cary the burden of there death pushed on by YOU!!!.....i cut myself and was suicidal at one point in my life and the depression LEAD to me being goth...the darkness is a way to hide and express how u feel...u feel in a dark state of mind...and the music speaks to our souls and hearts we can relate to our rock music ok!! >:O...and we can be happy as well....we're not sad 24/7 we laugh and smile and eat dinner with the fam sumtimes just like any other person....so stop it with stereotypical slurrs and calling us losers....GROW UP!!
