Icahn Moves to Oust the Yahoo! Board

Apparently not satisfied with his "win" against Motorola, Carl Icahn has been buying up Yahoo! stock, apparently planning a proxy fight designed to replace the Yahoo! Board of Directors with a set of nominees that will move forward toward a possible merger with Microsoft. On Thursday Icahn sent an open letter to Yahoo! Chairman Roy Bostock outlining his plans, stating that the company's board had "acted irrationally and lost the faith of shareholders and Microsoft."

Sounds personal with a "buy out" vendetta, something fishy here with this power tactic - smells of something Haliburton would do, my way or else...

Are we living in a virtual, inflationary, exagerated world? How a web page can be priced that
cost, even with revenues of advertisement? Advertisers can quit almost anytime and programmable tasks are basically no sweat to college graduates or professionals who can do many other webs similar to the ones already existing unless access to the market is secretly controlled by system tycoons who make up a wealthy class over all speculations . Internet is still a private corporate, without explicit laws . MoneyMoney!

What did Yahoo ever do to piss off Icahn? I bet Icahn himself doesn't surf the web nor is he a blogger, which tells me what Icahn did (brought Yahoo shares and MOT shares couple monthes back) is just for the heck of it. He's so filthy rich and bored in life that he has nothing better to do than making other peoples's life miserable.

With his wealth, he can actually do something good for the humanity by donating his money for China earthquake relief or Myanmar Cyclone disaster.

But guess what? He chosen to use his money to get even more filthy rich, which said a lot about his character. I wonder how he sleep in the night? taking a lot of sleeping pills I guess.
