hoorah for this childs efforts against the evil tobacco industry. it is obvious what they intend to do ...get kids hooked early. it is a drug and should be illegal, if we can educate kids about the dangers of this stuff then we stand a much better chance of keeping them off the cancer killer of the lungs. it is unfortunate our government still subsidizes farmers to grow it and looks forward to the taxes they collect to line thier pet projects that have nothing to do with health care or help paying for the damage tobacco does to peoples lives

Teens need to gather to talk about what will kill them before they get to adulthood. It's called prescription drug use. Meth use. If someone soon doesn't get these kids on track regarding the hazards of prescription drug use. They won't live long enough to have health problems.

The teens need to start encouraging doctors to stop giving out 90 day supplies to anyone.

Each person should be reevaluated for pain prior to getting their prescription refilled.

This would keep the narcotics off the street's or at the very least limit their availability.

Lets help them Know what is going to kill them now and let 40 years from now take care of itself.

It seems odd to me that when I was a kid I tried to get my father to quit, with all I could muster; wouldn,t you know it? I ended up smoking faithfully as an adult.

how many has tobacco killed over the years? how many will be killed in the first 20 minutes of a limited nuclear exchange? As long as I have to live with that threat then leave my smokes alone!

That vid pretty much sums it up. The tv reports leaves the illusion that these kids are some kind of a grass roots initiative. In reality it is state sponsored along with the usual partners. Using millions of extorted dollars through gov't means to denormalize the same groups. So much for the three Rs of education. Fascism is fascism no matter how you dress it or in what era it exists.

They do kind of remind one of the Hitler youth for certain.

Speaking of growing up.... Do you want to make your own decisions or do you want someone else making them for you like your mommie and daddy did your whole life..

Can't you decide for yourself if you want to smoke or not. Think about it.

Congress of the United States.
http://encarta.msn.com/encnet/refpages/refart...

I understand that you think you are doing a good thing by wanting everyone to quit smoking. And, you are. But, don’t you think you should learn to promote healthy lifestyles without undermining our Countries Constitution. Do it yourselves. Don’t whine and cry to adults who only want to control others. You are young, don’t work at throwing away your rights before you even have the chance to see how they can work for you as well as against you if left to the wrong hands. If politicians and adults want to stop everyone from smoking don’t you think it would be wise for them to stop the manufacture of tobacco while at the same time making it illegal, instead of banning a legal product. If they can “legally” ban a legal product within someone elses private property, what will stop them from coming into YOUR home (which is also private property) and telling you what you can and can not do there too ?. Do you really want to lose those freedoms before you are old enough to have and experience them ?

Read the Constitution, learn it. Stand up for your future rights…. No one is forcing you to smoke, you don’t need to jump off the bridge just because someone else is. Learn to make your own healthy decisions, and not rely on someone else to tell you what to do, how to do it and when to do it..
People do not want to be told what to do anymore than you do. How do you think you would feel to finally be considered an adult and still have to listen to someone telling you what to do as though you were still a small child ?
How would you like it if someone came in your home and forcibly took you away from your parents because they smoked or because they or you were too heavy ?… Are you over weight ? Is this what you want for your future ?

The Constitution of the United States

The Bill of Rights
http://encarta.msn.com/text_761553383___0/Bil...

Do you really want to help throw away your future Constitutional rights today ? Do you ?

So you children think it a good idea to let legislation make your decisions for your parents and yourselves. Well, what if I thought it a good idea for you not to get your drivers license, until you are 18 or older. I don’t think you should be allowed to eat what you want either. Your lunches at school should be given to you as if you were still a small child, since you are incapable of making healthy choices for yourselves. I also think that all schools with children under the age of 18 should all have closed campuses. Remember most of you are not old enough to vote and so we will make all your decisions for you.

Here is only one good reason to raise the minimum driving age to 18

Half kids who died in crashes had teen drivers

Stolen car crashes, teen dies.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23320101/

Number of teens killed in crashes drops in2007
.but…it is still too many

Giving anyone, whether it be a group of people, or government too much power over others regarding legal issues, is a bad thing.
