Can it be more clear that many of these people are not responsible enough to be home owners! For that matter renters. Yet the democrats want to give them free tax payer money to bail them out. Anyone that would trash a house should have to live in the street in a box!

I saw a foreclosure where everything was totally stripped out of the house! This was a $300K+ property that the bank finally unloaded for $130K, because the place looked like total krap on the inside. These bitter fools are knocking down the area property values of their innocent neighbors!

No pity for the stupid home owner who fell for predatory lending and did not have a lawyer go over the terms of the contract with them. If they couldn't afford a lawyer, then they couldn't afford the mortgage in the first place. IDIOTS!! No pity for the financial insitution who wrote the ARMs knowibf full well that the lendee could not afford the house.. CRIMINALS!!

Do you mean those over inflated houses priced in your neighborhood? Look at the bright side; property values decline... property assesment declines... you pay less in property tax. The condo I bought in 94 sold in 05 for 400% profit. I laughed all the way to the bank!! |

in another 4 yrs, housing should be at an affordable level, then the lenders will start all over again. Of course the buyers will fall for the same scam.

Typical of the third world country people here in Florida. They have come from New York, Cuba, and Haiti where this is normal even if you weren't losing your house. The answer is clear, deport them all.

I've even pulled permits to repair my home and you would think the banks would give in and modify my loans to help me to do the necessary repairs and even lend me some money so I can complete my work. Or do I just stop work and charge them $10K for the permit and walk away?

I have no sympathy for these banks and lending insitutions.... they were laughing all the way to the bank when they were lending these people money who couldnt afford to pay them back. They brought this on themselves!
