Its a shame that people in the United States cannot get along. I thought equality was and is part of the "AMERICAN" dream. But then again, some idiot on this blog will defitnely turn it racial as usual.

I personally work for Kodak with the named complainant above. Numerous times I had to wake him up after he slept on company time for hours. Not randomly, continuously, taking advantage of others and the company. Supervisors were told and they witnessed this quite frequently. The individual actually was medically retired from Kodak because he failed to perform his job correctly, which resulted in a self inflected injury. It appalls me to see individuals getting money and/or special treatment then and now based on race. If the individual work at Kodak, as hard as he is try to sue them ,he may have a different outlook

I was part of the management team at Kodak until the early 90s.During my tenure I found minorities were given more than fair treatment and any complaints were acted on immediatly.

I fail to see how this suit got as far as it has and how Kodak could be found at fault.

I also worked at Kodak and saw exactly the opposite going on as the lawsuit claims. All they did from the mid 90's till I left in 2006 was promote minorities and I got nothing. I worked for minorities who had no experience in my field but supposedly could make a good supervisor. As for these people who worked there 31 and 35 years who are complanining about how much they will get, they are lucky they made that many years there while most of us didn't make that many years. Absolutely disgusting but what else would you expect from Kodak which is run by a minority CEO.

While working for Kodak, there were many individuals that were promoted fairly. These individuals were male and female, black and white, young and old. I honestly can say ,that if you did your job, you were recognized for it and promoted accordingly. I am currently in the military, deployed overseas with many different individuals from all over the US and world. We are all here to do a job, like when I was in Kodak, and gender, as well as race does not affect us from accomplishing the mission.

Who's more upset? The lawyers soaking up a major part of the settlement in fees or the people who hired the lawyers settling for peanuts.

I retired in 2007 due to a medical condition, working shift work for over 20 years.I had 33 years in the Company and they bent over backwards for minorities,They were given the raises and promotions before anyone else.I know some of the People that brought this lawsuit up,It was for the money they used race as an excuse. But Kodak was to stupid to see it.

I totally agree I worked there 28 1/2 years and saw the exact same thing. I worked for a minority supervisor who harassed me and all he got was a slap on the wrist. If this was a white supervisor doing it to a black person they would have been fired on the spot. But then again look who is running the company.

I was a janitor at Kodak for a year and I didn't see any blacks at all as far as I can remember. Maybe one or two and that is all. I have a funny feeling that someone is going to post behind me and say that b/c all of them were asleep at their desks. We get that part. You guys feel as though they did not pull their weight. Posters have shown a diffrent of opinion on this matter. We have to move past this lawsuit case, b/c the damage is already done. The only person's that I feel sorry for are the retiree's to include my mother-in-law.

continued. discrimintion formost is aindividual problem 2 people in a group can have vastly different situations, the lawsuit tagalongs most certinally were just that tagalongs not wishing to gut it out probally not discriminated aginst now looking to hit the lawsuit lottery
It is a shame the few who were really dicsriminted aginst have their justice lessened by such a people.
PS age discrimination exists in the construction industry today smart Virginia lawyers seek to take justice from those discriminated aginst.

Kodak should appeal this. Obviously it was always about the money.

When are white people going to win lawsuits? Black and hispanics regularly discriminate against whites and get away with it. It has to stop.

No more affirmative action, do away with any rule regarding "color" its how minorities get away with doing nothing on the job.

The man sleeping, where are the photos of him? After all it would have been a Kodak Moment!!

....disgusted and disappointed that this once fine company turned into the laughing stock that it is now. I am a Kodak retiree, my "benefits" have been cut, health care has gone through the roof, and now this? Wasn't there a settlement some years ago when folks got "paid off" , and employees and supervisors were sent to re education camps (diversity trng.)? No wonder Kodak is in deep trouble.
