Why did Goodyear rise some 43 pts after such negative news about the possiblity of a strike?

Maybe someone's jumping the gun a little but the current union contract ends on July 17th/18th timeframe. Anyone heard about a call for a strike yet?

so MrsJJ, should we all work for nothing and turn our good jobs into shit jobs? I don't want my job to be like a Wallmart job! Give back now and we will never regain our give backs. GT is not in bad financial shape! GT in the last few years has record sales and profits and for from bankruptcy! Concessions are not an option!

Obviously a few here haven't seen the concessions GY is asking for - they are asking their workforce to bend over and take it without lube!
