Output did you say output, what work they did should have been put out in the trash with the rest of the garbage, and for our sakes I hope we never stoop to that low of a level of quality, and there wasn't any quantity involved, very little was shipped that the contractors built.
The only thing that belongs in the trash is the reputation of the current workforce. If you look in the dictionary under the word, Lazy - you would see an hourly picture. If you took time to look in the plant, there are parts everwhere. And they were not built before the strike either. And product did ship, you don't have a clue. Exactly like you didn't when you voted to strike. You sure got a SWEET contract and your Brothers and Sisters on the negotiating team was looking out for your best interest. Lets do it again in 3 years and see how much more you can loose.

So you have one of those children’s picture dictionaries.
Have you ever heard of Webster’s dictionary, it’s for adults.
You go by the handle Management Rules but I doubt you’re in management, because if you were you would be doing something about those so called lazy hourly workers.
You may be some low-level salary that tried for a few months to do a real workers job, but couldn’t cut the quality part of the work.
Wow but let’s see since we came back GIV is shipping every week, C130 is catching up on all the rework that they came back to.
And as far as parts everywhere I take it you mean the dollies in front of C130 a few panels with stringers attached, no major assemblies.
As far as how I voted you are the one with out a clue.
So management has the opportunity to turn this site around, well name something they have done since the hourly workforce has returned to turn it around, absolutely nothing.
So if your in management either get it done or shut it up.

You know how full of sh.t you are that we have come back and filling the lines up. All the other guys did was hot stamp things and pass on the mess that they give us to clean up. Its going to take Vought a long time to recover from this sh.t for what. This is silly. They lost more than they ever will regain so thats corporate America.

Dear Viet Nam Vet,
I would like to start by saying thank you for serving our country. I don't work at Vought, but I have done work inside the plant as a sub-contractor to do environmental jobs. I have been there when the strike was going on and when it was not. I was really amazed at what I seen when I was there and no strike was going on, and to be honest there wasn't much difference when the strike was going on.
Your problem does not just exist with management, but with some of the workers and union rep as well. Vought was going to have somebody run the machines whether by union workers or scaps. Your union rep has had plenty of time to realize all of the problems that should have been brought to the table, and had enough backbone to stand his ground until he got what was a fair deal. Vought can't handle not getting wings and other items out and ready if they are not done correctly. The union workers had been trained correctly, and had years experience doing it. In any contract dispute one side will hold out until they get what is a fair deal, and if your deal was not fair then you only have your rep to blame.
This is why I made my comments earlier, I would of liked to seen more men standing out at the gates to show everyone how strong ya'll were.

Sabatasing jobs, gluing mirrors inside wings ARE YOU WANTING TO lose your contracts so that everyone is layed off instead of on strike! Act like grown adults my children don't act as childish. Calling names and writing trash on bathroom walls back flash of grade school. The whole bunch of you need to go enroll in a daycare center so you can be watch by mature adults probably younger than YOU!

Enough is Enough! GROW UP!!

There are not going to be any contractors in the plant after thie coming week. The lines are full and we are back on scdedule and the rates have droped on G1V.We heard this week March 14th that the company lost 38 million dollars on strike . So thats not to smart to give up a pension and not keep rates afloat just to cut off your nose to spite your face. The union didn't do us no favors in this strike and the company is blaming us for their shortcomings. We were just caught up in the middle and it won't happen again. They know we are their backbone but they will never admitt it like moving the plant to Texas.Spend millions to save a dime. There was amirror left in the 296 box by a contractor doing rework. They can't do anything to him because he's gone. When we got back contract inspectors where buying work by not knowing what they were looking at. Parts put on backwards.wrong rivets installed, Hot stamping and to give our customer aproduct and a very poor one at that. Why jepordize that. Yes we came back and if we knew then what we do now it would had been the end of the Nashville facility if we had'nt.Because they couldn't have got it done with contract workers and newhires. So they took the cheap shot and said we would loose our jobs if we didn't come back instead of saying we need you guys back which when we returned they were glad to see us but mighty tricky people to rather loose a company than admitt they where wrong and give something instead of threats of no jobs. They showed how important we were or should I say as of today March 14 we showed them how important they need us to keep that place afloat So things are looking up now far as not letting shitty work go out but we'll get it back to normal.Do it right the first time. They robbed our tools they took our dignity they have not got our trust because they will blame us for their stupid decisions. They are paying everyday of the trust or lack of we have for them. Nothing has changed the management is still the same so now we will let them run it thy want. We seen how they ran it when we were out and they are a joke.Thorpe you'll be gone next.Maxey didn't leaveon his own he was shown the door.Listen to your emplyees they know whats going on inther not management. The employees do the job not management.Management rushes to get the product out the door any way they can. Management is still a big joke.We filled the lines back up not management not contractors and scabs. We the members of Local 735. Not the international the people of Nashville Tennessee and surrounding counties that come to try and make a living and do our jobs the best we know how with all the obstacles that are in our path.

You would not know the truth if it hit you in the face. How do you know why Maxie Garrett left? Are you in Mgt? They would be the ones who know why he retired. Probably tried of all the BS from workers like you!

Texton sold you. Site was with in days of bankruptcy before Ewing group came in, just keeped your head above water till Caryle force Vought to buy you.Vought has invested 10-20 m in new equipment to get you were so you lose less money what a back bone. If you disagree ask Steve Davis or Elmer at next meeting if you made a dime before the strike.

What's up!?!?!

OMG!!! You guys are STILL HERE!?!? Hey Everyone! So, it seems that you all still have not learned how to Play Nice. Of course... the big bucks are in Charleston and Tulsa right now. Maybe if you all are so unhappy, this time REALLY show Vought how strong you are and just go work that contract four months. You just might make enough to meet half of what you lost by being in a Union!

Dogg! Love ya Man! I will be in Nashville next month for a few days! Meeting up with Bowling Green for a weekend there. I'm buying this time!

How's Momma Nita? She still alive and kicking? Did her drug using pony boy finally leave with his wife? OMG!! They sure could phuck up stuff fast!

Oh well... I actually have to say I really miss it there. I loved building that beavertail!

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Capricorn

You feel like overindulging yourself in some way today, and why not? Throw caution to the wind and eat your way through a big bar of chocolate, or have a retail therapy session that leaves you reeling from the amount of money you've spent. There's a definite chance you could get carried away and tell a whopper of a story that has little resemblance to what really happened. What on earth has got into you?
