Yet another example of how are safety employees (especially of Marin) abuses the government pension programs. You should see how many of these guys have retired in the same manner in the City of San Rafael and the County right before they hit the early retirement age of 50. Good job marinites, keep voting for these leaders and giving them all the bond $$ and measures like they want. This time they will get zilch from me.
Say NO to measure G. |

In the last days of the class war...the unions will all crumble ,cepting the police and public unions. These represent the war economy and will protect it,s protagonists. As the will of America wanes under the meanness that classism engenders, these war profiteers must allow the existance of the public unions to ensure that the machinery of their empire survives. The members of these public unions must stretch the moral and legal boundaries just to survive. This double-dipping pd chief dude is probably just making it...mnaybe.
So even if you think these are "priviledged" it is only temporary. We are changing our economy to a non war based one. Tomorrow, police won't have to protect thugs and white-collar thieves. For now the mean show will go on.. But, please...don,t hate the players! |

Those two jokers ought to be arrested. Talk about abusing tax payers.

How many of these guys have retired in the same manner in the City of San Rafael and the County? |

remember folks, this guy is currently being paid to do law enforcement.
This is a great example of why our kids won't work. When they see the "entitled" attitiude of pd...they think of them like the CEO s that get 1000 times the pay of their workers. Cops are percieved as class criminals for the rich. Allowing this double dipping is saying it is ok to cheat. Cheating and law enforcement don't mix.... Unless the real goal is to protect the arms industry by CHEATING the taxpayers. Did not the Chinese have "street trials" for these traitors to our country's domestic security when Mao took the helm? And I did say TOOK. Who wants to work in a system that favors "shell gamers"...a 4th grader gets this..Mr. Double dip doesn,t HAVE TO. You, the American taxpayer won't make him get honest Why? Cuz, you, the American taxpayer have not created an economy of peace. You still rely on war to bail you out Your economy makes no sense without war |

Agreed! No to any and all bond measures. They rarely, if ever, deliver what they promise, except more taxes. |

Typical, and so predictable.
California state laws make it relatively easy for sworn police personnel to retire on disability, and about 30 to 40 percent do. Also, I believe that for disability retirement, 90% of the income is tax-free. Workers Compensation laws are written such that, for police and firemen, virtually all health problems are presumed to be the result of that they do for a living. It's why workers compensation premium rates for city police and firemen are so high - they're usually 10-15 percent of salary, by contrast for office workers the rate is about 1% of salary. |
||||
You write as if you are from a foreign country. Could you be here illegally? In the old days someone like you would be standing on a street corner with a sandwich-board sign reading “Last Days”. Get out of the house (off your butt) and into the streets with your message. Work for it. |
||||
This is the information superhighway, isn't it? The internet is the only street that matters anymore...foo! Look at Seattle, those protesters got physically tortured in the streets by unionized cops. So, EDL, you want me to get sprayed with pepper? Hit with baton? Not this time, Chang Kai! I will continue to broadcast my comments to the world at large I understand that telling me to "take to the street"...is telling me to shut up. Not today, bully! By the way Born in SF, Raised in CM Call me MR. NAtive Marinite! |
||||
No dedication to your cause. The IJ comment page is the world at large? |

It appears they are within the rules of the citys and retirement system...If you dont like it you have to change the rules.
Dont hate the players...hate the game |
||||
What exactly is "the world at large" , Einstien? If ya know what it ain't..what is it? Noodlers always seek the purposeful to noodle It feels like praise, though.. thanks, edl |

This type of incident is very common in the boy's club of Law Enforcement managers. It is a raccket that is pretty much solid for the involved employee.

Wow where to start.
FRAUD AND PERJURY JUST TO BEGIN WITH ARE FRLONIES. The bad guys pretending to be good really like to flaunt there abuse and position. If this was any other citizen they would lose their disability and be thrown into jail but like our anti-American justice system those same people just need to make up a new law with the help of our crooked politicians so they can legally commit crimes like now. Oh let's not forget "He's innocent until proven guilty" so treat him the same as everyone else, arrest him and throw him in jail, then let him post bail even though this case should be an example and no bail should be given like most people that commit a lesser crime. Quote "We knew we didn't hire him to do any police patrol - he was hired to do administrative work that required reports, investigations, those kinds of things that need to be done," Corpuz said. "He doesn't need to be running around the streets." Chiefs by the way do not do patrols unless no one else can respond to a call and usually it's when there is going to be a media spotlight cast over a case. Chiefs generally do administrative work that requires reports and investigative oversight, it's those kinds of thiongs that are done. There slso is a conspiracy rising, which under California State Penal Code list as "An act committed by more then two individuals" due to the stated fact by Politzer and Willis that they had knowledge of such activity that they declined to investigate properly in an unbiased manner. Time for a recall campaign for Sausalito, if you well off folks don't do something now this will snowball into other areas which will be out of your control later. |

The laws are so easy to twist and turn for safety group that right before they hit 50, maybe 2 years prior they get injured or hurt at duty. And for them virtually everything health problem, injury or anything has to do with work or while in duty. Why not you give a call to the City of San Rafael or Novato, and County of Marin to find out how many safety employees went under disability claim at retirement?? They would never give this information out even though by law this is public record. That is why I want all retirement/pension to be at 2.5 percent at age 60 or even 62 so they don't take advantage of the loop holes and the sucked up system we are in. The State is bankrupt, and pretty soon the Cities/Counties will go bankrupt with the way they are operating. Say NO to Measure G....send the City the message, we are sick and tired of this. |

It is obvious that the city managers of Sausalito and Seaside are corrupt and consider themselves and whomever else they chose to be above the law. It is well know that the Seaside city manager is corrupt, and now we see that Sausalito's city manager is of the same ilk. It will be interesting to see if the citizens of Sausalito have it in them to insist that the city manager do his job and prevent a fraudulent disability claim from continuing and press charges of fraud. You can bet that the former Captain is getting almost $100,000 per year in fraudulent disability pay. As for the arrogance of the Seaside city manager, we already know that the Seaside City Council who hired him is incompetent and costing the citizens of Seaside a fortune in litigation costs and potentially a much larger fortune in law suits. Yet the people of Seaside sit there like dolts. Ahh, corrupt America. Yet we continue to let individuals like these stay in office. Much the same as Wall Street.

Cops and firefighters going out on disability, what else is new?
|
|||
There is no evidence whatsoever that the City Manager of Sausalito is corrupt, and you're an idiot for saying that. The problem is in the retirement and disability laws of the state of California. |

Hey everyone....they're here to protect us and they put their lives in danger every single day!! They deserve every penny of their bloated salary and pension....I mean, it's only our taxes that increase every year to fund them
