joe, i don't think a teeny bit of extra traffic or a few extra seconds of driving is really that much of a problem for those areas. if that were the case then no one would be driving up to that cluster at polaris. traffic nightmare! give tuttle another 10 years. the developers will move on and everyone will blame the city instead of the sprawl developers. rinse and repeat! LOL! |

I totally disagree! A few minor traffic headaches multiplied by 10,000 drivers a day multiplied by a few years = Brice Rd. I used to shop at Meijer and the other stores there all of the time. Not much left there now. I've moved on to SR 256 shopping. |

Some parts of the East Coast are turning into "Biff's World" from "Back to the Future"...Where America's going from an Industrial Nation to a Service Based Economy and some politicians think gambling casinos are one quick fix solution..Also Sports Bars that feature computerized gambling...Automated racetracks,etc....Restaurants used to be for special occasions only & I remember a time when shopping was not a sport or a diversion. Eat and shop and shop till you drop. That much shopping isn't even fun just a bad habit. It's a middle class version of the European tour.

EXACTLY! you cant shop there anymroe because the developers packed up and moved. that meijer just moved a bit down the road and everyone left an abandonded zombie center behind them. the retail developers are to blame for this type of wasteful sprawl! |

What racist drivel. Where do they get awful posters like you? Areas annex to Columbus because they like the idea of water and sewer. Silly them. |

I just hope City Center will rally it and start attracting more of those businesses. What they have now, with dance and dermal art studios, is more unique than the same old mega-chain stores. And speaking of architecture, there are so many beautiful buildings downtown, and what makes it beautiful is the variety, that they weren't all built by the same contractor, like what you see happening at Easton and New Albany where all the buildings look the same. Downtown needs more business going for it, outside of standard business hours, keep the traffic flowing and the people milling.

yes i agree with sam the man the movie theatre there is bad news there on the weekend, during the week its ok. But the bad news bears come on the weekend and i have seen amc try to control this mess with little or no luck. Its sad because it is a nice theatre but when you have bad people there well,,,they need to find a way to control this mess. My wife and I used to go that theatre a while back when it was not so bad. I wanted to add my 2 cents worth i dont know if anybody will read this but who knows

I used to LOVE this mall when it had a Marshall Fields. Field's had the best merchandise and having it in Columbus was always a nice concession for not being able to live and work in Chicago. But then Macy's killed Marshall Fields, ticked off the entire Chicagoland area (ditto for Filenes/Boston, countless other tried and trusted brands across the US), and killed a lot of malls along with it when shopping malls suddenly had multiple Macy's stores. |

I think the anchor department store that would really tweak Easton would be Bloomingdales. Columbus's nuevo riche shoppers would totally buy into Bloomingdales.

Its not wasteful sprawl they lest columbus |
