More Coffee Awesomeness - It May Ward Off Cholesterol And Alzheimer's

A daily dose of caffeine blocks the disruptive effects of high cholesterol that scientists have linked to Alzheimer's disease.

A study in the Journal of Neuroinflammation revealed that caffeine equivalent to just one cup of coffee a day could protect the blood-brain barrier (BBB) from damage that occurred with a high-fat diet.

I think scientist really think the rest of America is real dumb...

Don't they know we laugh at thier ever changing surveys and conclusions...

I think that a person can eat anything as long as it is limited and they don't worship or idolize the food that they eat, they will be healthy. I mean I am six-foot tall and come from an overweight family but I am not over-weight myself. I eat whatever I crave to an extent. Your body knows what it wants and I think that if people just trusted that and only ate when they were hungry instead of on some time schedule, they would be happier and healthier. Just don't eat right before you go to bed.

Don't know about their findings, but if true I should never die with high cholesterol or Alzheimers....what's next?
I'm like jusme, not sure they know what they are talking about. They enjoy their names or finds in print, I guess.

My grandfather drank coffee any day and was nutty as a fruitcake when he died. So much for the Alzheimer's theory.

I believe that ALL news now is like standing in the line at the grocery store and daring to glimpse at the stupid headlines of the rags sold there....oh my, woman gives birth to three headed child...man having baby...just stupid things to get you to pick up the paper...Where oh where is Walter Cronkite when we truly need him? Most important...why have we STOPPED thinking?

Coffee is great! A cup a day keeps me running free....high on caffine! I love my sodas also, could that caffine content work just the same way? I remember back in the mid-90's scientists came up with a remarkable discovery...if you eat hamburger before you wake up in the morning, does that make sense...anyway, you will have a really great desire for sex! My husband laughed and said that we will need 2 hamburgers at our night stand so that we can have great sex after we wake up in the morning! Scientists....what will they think up next?

Yeah, and if rat poison had anti-oxidants, I suppose it would be "healthy," too.

The leading cause of death in in America is being a miserable S.O.B.Happy people live longer. They look for the positive things in live and avoid negative people. When your wife or husband gets grumpy, leave the house and go to the closest Starbucks for a cupppa joe! You will help your brain plus get away from the stress.
