"Net Neutrality" is Socialism. Is there any doubt why Obama ushers it in?

How do you manage to be so consistantly wrong?

Net neutrality is regulation to prevent large corporations from "stacking the deck" against small companies and consumers.

Wake up. Socialism has been dead since the 1950's, in spite of Michael Harrington.

Sounds more to me like health care for the internet. This is a way to provide high speed internet for low cost or even free to people that normally couldnt afford it. All paid for by our taxes.

Your paranoia quotent is 'way too high.
Give yourself a break.

This issue is more like anti-trust, than anything else. If you equate anti-trust with healthcare, or socialism, you need medication.

I still want to know who or what is going to get all the dead air analog signals now that they are unused.

Do broadcasters still have intact licenses for those frequencies? Will they keep renewing their license even though there is no broadcasting?

Do they outright own the frequencies?

The people want to know. After all, over the decades look at how much tax payer money has been put into those frequencies.

That is what was publicly lauded back then but those guys switched to digital quite a while before broadcasters did.

A broadcast wavelength can be used for either a digital or analog format. The medium does not care which. Digital is more efficient.

I think the whole thing was foolish, but I don't watch a lot of TV.
