"Section 501 of the bill provides that an individual must be "covered by acceptable coverage at all times." "Acceptable coverage" includes "qualified health benefits plan coverage," "grandfathered health insurance coverage," "Medicare," "Medicaid," coverage provided to members of the armed forces and their dependants, "coverage under the veteran's health care program," people who receive health care "through the Indian Health Service," or other coverage deemed acceptable by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. If a person does not have acceptable health care coverage, Section 501 imposes a tax on that person "not to exceed the applicable national average premium":
"Hardship cases" are exempted from the tax. From Section 501(f):
We all need health ins. Nothing wrong with that.

Yes, there IS something wrong with THAT! Will they be telling how to brush my teeth and comb my hair next? Will that be mandatory too? Will I need to purchase ONLY government approved tooth brushes and combs? And which toothbrush and comb manufacturers get the government seal of approval? The ones that have the "politician-du-jour" in their PAC pockets?

There is soooooooooooo much WRONG with this, it's hard to find a place to start, let alone finish..........

It seems better to require all to buy coverage than to continue to have those who choose to buy insurance footing emergency room bills for those who can't/don't pay. I think this beats letting emergency rooms reject those who don't have insurance. The tax for failure to carry healthcare coverage would be the premium for access to emergency treatment.

You need to go and read the bill and stop the hysterics.
Everyone knows and understands that reform is needed. Instead of crying the 'the sky is falling,,,the sky is falling....' listen and read with an open mind. And turn off Fox---- the network that does nothing but lie and scare everyone.

Daily Horoscope for December 4

Taurus

Someone simply isn't being realistic or practical today, Taurus. He or she seems to be lost in a dream world of wishful thinking and idealism, none of which has much to do with what's really going on. Unfortunately, they won't want to hear any of this and may even manipulate the situation so they don't have to listen to your opinions. Be careful when dealing with this character and try not to get sucked into this desire to escape reality at all costs.
