nope, have no concept of marriage, now explain how you pay indirectly
Division of labor. A household runs just like a company... not every department brings in revenue but they are still doing things that are necessary for the company to function, and that's why they are paid. Money brought into a household belongs to the couple as an entity, not only to the revenue-maker.

But they do get health care. That is the point. If they get sick, they don't lose their homes or go bankrupt. If they pay their taxes for decades then some for profit guy in the corporate world can't deny them coverage. If they have a pre-existing condition no one tells them that they don't qualify. That is the point. I for one am willing to pay higher taxes for that kind of coverage.
And if it was Constitutional so would I.

But it is NOT Constitutional. First step must be to Ammend the Constitution or have the States provide health care.

Someone doesn't have a clue about how governments operate. You sound like the women who was waiting for free money. She was asked where it came from and responded "Obama". When asked where Obama got it she says "his stash. I don't know."

Governments get there money via taxes, i.e. you and me.

Interesting -- maybe you should read the article -- "Of course, the elections are still nearly 12 months away and conditions could shift back in the Democrats' favor over this time." -- it does not matter what the polls indicate now, what matters is what the elections results are. Historically the party in power loses seats in mid-terms, but thanks for the heads up, I feel confident that health care reform will be law prior to midterms.

Here is more proof from a right wing nut hate site that twists Mr Olbermann's known facts.
The Repukes need to admit their racism and crimes and get out of the way.
CHANGE is here!
Olbermann is insane!

Interesting... what is your position about Reagan granting ctiizenship to illegals in 1986 under the Simpson-Mazzoli Act?

You conveniently left out the part that the bill was put in place partly to make hiring and recruiting illegals a crime. No administration since then has had the nutts to enforce it.

To include the administration that signed it into law. LOL -- I make note that you conveniently left out that Reagan gave citizenship to illegals while kicking Obama for consider doing it. Betcha you did not even know -- lol -- yes, that is the fate of us liberals, the never ending task of educating you conservatives.

You already pointed that out in a previous post. Why should I repeat it?
I'm not arrogant. I learn something every day.
You, on the other hand, are not a teacher. Just an angry, frustrated liberal.

Daily Horoscope for December 4

Libra

You're at your most idealistic and romantic today, which is saying something. You have no desire to come into contact with brutal reality unless you have absolutely no choice in the matter. Instead, you want to float away into a world of your own, preferably accompanied by someone utterly wonderful. However, don't fall into the trap of kidding yourself about something or someone, especially if you know full well that this will break your heart further down the line.
