obviously these people would say they are responding correctly; they still have jobs.

There are a lot of great employees who are out of a job. Unfortunately, the not so great employees still have a job because they know the biggest secret of all - kiss your supervisor's arce, kiss your supervisor's arce, kiss your supervisor's arce .... - forget about doing a great job - it will only **** off everyone else and you will become the threat - so goof off as much as you can and kiss your supervisor's arce, kiss your supervisor's arce, kiss your supervisor's arce.
