translation: since there is spin everywhere, don't expect anything until 2012...that's 2 years if we're lucky...

this "expert," smith has already demonstrated poor success at "predicting," what will happen and covers his arse by making contradictory assumptions as well. plus, his statement regardling lingle, china and "brilliant," is sad and laughable...

thanks for the expertise brah...keep up the good work...

Is somebody really paying these idiots for their spin?
I remind you that these are the same fools who made wildly unrealistically optimistic projections just a year ago, when most common sense people realized that things were going down the tubes.

Unemployment above 10% and GDP bubble by government spending instead of consumer spending and you call that recovery in 2011?

The market will climb for sure because of weak dollar as helicopter Ben is true to his nature of running his 24/7 prinitng press.

This qick fix will only prolong the inevitable of inflation and the more we throw paper money out the more we go deeper in a hole that even 2 generations from now will not able to get out of.

We can change all this by your vote next year and vote all your representative out of office. Washington has wall street on their pay roll...

People in Hawaii are in for Big T as in trouble.
you have no hope at all.
Better than the 219,000 lost in September. It's better, thank god the recession is over. Everything is just peachy fine. Good God, won't somebody just tell the freaking truth already. Obama won't rest until America is prosperous again.....lol. Prosperous again, prosperous again. That will be a long, long, long, long, time
The great treasurey bubble
thanks for not letting the recession that needed to take place actually happen and artifically trying to prop up a dead, debt burdened economy to only make the final result a million times worse than it would of been if we just took the real recession.
But keep borrowing and monitizing so people who cant afford homes can get 7000$ credits when they buy a house they ultimately cant afford or getting rid of a car that worked just so they could trade up to a new vehicle they most likely didnt even need in the first place.
We are so f**ked its not even funny

2011? Based on an objective review of national economic data, that projection is far too optimistic. We must still deal with the 600 lb. gorilla called commercial real estate that is about to become very destructive. The government stimulus programs provided a brief respite from the collapse in the financial and stock markets and encouraged a slight uptick in spending, but those programs will soon run out of steam. This crisis cannot be made to disappear through the creation of make believe money or cash for clunkers. It has to work itself through the system and will ultimately bring down businesses that are essentially insolvent. Lots of people will be hurt along the way. Hawaii's tourist based economy will be a victim and will have to tighten its belt far more than it has already.

These stupid economists are just as dumb as the fools on Wall Street that got us into this mess. Useless idiots.
