From reading other posts I assume lifepoint makes its money from working their staff like dogs. Lifepoint likes "rural" hospitals because number one: staff may not have other job opportunities close to home and number two: patients don't have a choice for hospital care either. This company comes in like a small manageable tumor. Increaslingly it snow balls into an aggressive cancer with no cure.

Lifepoint is a terrible company to work for. No raises, no leadership, don't communicate with staff, don't know how to compete, don't reward extra effort. It's all about Nashville and to hell with employees in the field.

Well said. Very well said. These folks trying to live in their home towns and work in their home towns too. Life point doesn't care about patient safety just keep it safe... Normal situation in bigger hospital a one on one patient is just that one on one and that was for patient safety at life point this means sit him at the nurses station with you because we can NOT call anyone in because our manager is threaten by her CNO CFO AND CEO for being over in hours.

You have and out of state corporation telling you how you run your local town hospital. That have local dr, local nurses, local employees but executives are not from here. It's all a game to them. Scored and tally.
