Jeb Bush skeptical about global warming

Jeb would have been a far superior president to his less Qualified brother. In fact I'll go out on a limb and say that he will be the president right after the next Clinton administration.

In 1988 when this came up the "scientists" were predicting Florida would be under water in 20 years. 20 years later apparently they are now giving us another 20 years.
Global warming is a plot by the Europeans and other socialists to destroy the U.S. economy. Even Bill Clinton wouldn't fall for that B.S.,they had to find an ignorant numnutz like Al Gore.

Whether human activity is contributing to global warming or not, the facts are that particulate matter in the air causes health problems for many. A lot of us who grew up in cities where coal was used to heat homes and produce electricity have the same kinds of lung problems that smokers do; heavy coughs, lung bleeds, asthma.

Cities with inversions that constantly trap car emissions also produce residents with lung problems. These problems alone should motivate a search for cleaner forms of energy production.

If global warming slows down because we use hydrogen powered cars and produce electricity with the help of solar, wind, nuclear, scrubbed coal or gassified coal - so much the better.

Wait - don't tell me. Jeb doesn't believe asthma exists, either....

I tend to totally agree with you on this in heart and spirit. Far too many people discount Jeb's business acumen and open personality of government and many others see the name "Bush" and have to throw darts and daggers into a comment. Maybe they can fall onto one and do the world a favor.

It's not hysteria, it's common sense. If you've ever been to LA, Mexico City, or Detroit, you can see that human activity has an obvious impact on the environment. That the world population is exploding and industrial activities are increasing exponentially makes it very hard to believe that the increase in atmospheric temperature is coincidental.

And every scientist that claims global warming is a fraud are now threatened with drops in their research funding or simply being fired.
Al Gore will come down as someone responsible for more deaths and regulation in this world than Rachel Carson. It's simply sick that after the hurricane in Burma, he chooses to politicize the issue and claim the cause was global warming just so more people will buy indulgences/carbon credits so he can make more money. All the while people are starving to death as the scam he has brought to the world encourages everyone to burn food.

The more significant debate is whether global warming is caused by human activity ... and even that's not much of a debate, since the preponderance of the evidence suggests that it is.
