Global Warming will go down with the pet rock, disco, hippies, hula hoops, granola, baggy pants, and other assorted twisted and just plain dumb crazes that have plagued the dullards through time. Village idiots have been around since they have had villages. They will always be here.

Good for him. He definitely has earned my respect. Hopefully other people will start coming out and saying how truly ridiculous it is.

Viva Bush! Amen Jeb! It's too bad Jeb is burned out with government - but hopefully he'll be back someday...at any rate, Jeb is right - government policy should be based on SOUND SCIENCE....global warming is a bunch of speculation based on statistics which could turn out to be true, but there's just not enough evidence yet....

So much for him being the smarter. Jeez, for those of you still sceptical about Global Warming, realize there are probably people who still think the Earth is flat, and you come off as just a little more understanding then they are.

For every scientist that insists global warming is a real threat, there is another scientist willing to state that global warming is a complete fraud.

Gads! I thought we were rid of him. And true to form, he's living up to the Bush standards of excruciating intelligence. Sure he wants the country to continue using oil -- as he speaks in Texas where he should stay.

The climate is changing -- that is a fact. The question is why; and just because he doesn't believe that humans are the cause (and neither do I), that doesn't mean we shouldn't step up and make sure we don't exacerbate the issue.

I don't believe that he's "light-green" about the environment.
He is really more of a blackish-gold.

I hope he stays in Texas and that I don't have to hear about him again -- at least until Florida freezes over.

Oh, and ridding our neighborhoods of those yipping little fur balls is one of the most beneficial things that alligators do. Real dogs don't get eaten by alligators.

Exactly. Although the scientists that argue that global warming isn't caused by human activity happen to be on the bank rolls of Exxon and BP. I'm sure that doesn't sway their analysis though. So yeah, you're probably right.

It's not hysteria, it's common sense. If you've ever been to LA, Mexico City, or Detroit, you can see that human activity has an obvious impact on the environment. That the world population is exploding and industrial activities are increasing exponentially makes it very hard to believe that the increase in atmospheric temperature is coincidental.

does anyone ever think that just maybe this is a cycle of warming that will be followed by a cycle of cooling that mother nature is in charge of? just like seasons of high hurricane activity followed by seasons of low hurricane activity. just like dry periods followed by rainy perions. sunshine followed by clouds. mother nature always sesm to find a way to correct herself.

We miss you JEB!!! Too bad he doesn't have future political ambitions, he is and was a great leader with sound judgment. Too bad he won't challenge one of the two useless people we call our Senators.

Uh, no. More like, "For every 1000 scientists that insist global warming is a real threat, there is .001 who tries to get his name in the papers by claiming that it is all a crock and that his poor publication record is due to unfair bias."

The more significant debate is whether global warming is caused by human activity ... and even that's not much of a debate, since the preponderance of the evidence suggests that it is.
