We don't even know that he did it. The girl is very close to his age and they had a relationship prior. The young kid that was killed was just that, a kid. Your ignorance is appalling! You don't have all the facts. In the same way I could easily take his side and say she made it all up, but I don't, because I am not ignorant. All I know is I feel for both families. I will be praying for this young lady and her family as well as the family of this yound man.

Whatever. The police only react to situations created by the suspect. The suspect created this situation and the police did what they needed to do so that they can go home to their families. Better that the bad guy dies, by whatever means, than the police get killed unnecessarily. The police cannot predict the actions of the suspect, they can only react to his action. I feel for the officers that had to pull the trigger. They certainly did not go to work that day looking to kill someone. The incident makes all the sense in the world to me. The Upland Police does not need to be sued causing my taxes to be raised. People like you need to accept that this fella was a cowardly criminal that could not take responsibility for his own actions.
